WASHINGTON – An embarrassed White House apologized on Wednesday to a black Agriculture Department employee who was ousted for her remarks about race, acknowledging that officials did not know all the facts when she was fired.
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs called the dismissal of Shirley Sherrod an injustice and a mistake. He said Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack was trying to reach her to extend the administration's apology.

Considering the fact that Glenn says specifically he did not know anything about this until yesterday, no. And your scenario implies Breitbart was up to no good-niks his own self, he was not. He was demonstrating to the NAACP that they are the racist bunch and not the tea party folks, as the NAACP has charged. Breitbart was/is not trying to pull something on anyone; neither is Glenn.
Maybe Obama can offer her a stint as Ambassador to Zimbabwe.
And not even on the day he made it, nor the next -- he said it on a Tuesday (I saw it live), no mention whatever until someone put the video of it on youtube and directed the Rutgers players to watch it that weekend, it wasn't until the next Monday that any outrage was uttered. Totally ginned up controversy, thank you *revs*.
That's what I'm thinking, as I said earlier, that business of saying to Sherrod, "You're going to be on Glenn Beck tonight" because whomever set this in motion thought for sure he'd play it and a la Van Jones, stir the pot to force the WH to get her resignation. They figured to do an end-run around that by getting her to resign first and THEN the full vid would come out with this *epiphany* moment, they can level attack on Beck, destroy him. Too bad they didn't consider he'd not see it before air time.
Obama acted stupidly.
Obama and his clowns better hope the whole vid never gets released to the public as they will look like the idiots that they are.
Nobody watches CNN so I am sure their attacks will fall on deaf ears.
I might believe she was a decent person if that was the only thing she was guilty of and apologized to the white guy. But why did she get ovations from the NAACP for all the other words...hmmmm,

What I’m about to say has nothing to do with the subject of this thread, obuma, the rat party or anything else. It’s about several hundred stupid anecdotes I’ve accumulated throughout my life. And you’re about to hear one.
Anyway...one time we were on a hunting expedition. We drew straws on who would make coffee for breakfast. I got the short straw.
In my entire life, I’ve probably drank five cups of coffee, including sips when monumentally hung over. So that breakfast, I made coffee. Everyone agreed that it was the most foul witches brew ever created on Earth.
Afterwards, I wasn’t asked to even pour a cup water.
My fate is sealed: sergeantdave is the worst coffee maker on planet Earth. (Ha! But females love my chocolate fudge.)

The right is getting its *ssed kick all over this country. They let the left position themselves to run the media and the universities, etc., and now they are being used and abused daily.
Where is the defense of the Tea Party? Where is the REAL fight against ALL the things the left has done/is doing that is clearly anti-American, and anti-freedom?
While there may be differences between the D and the R, they all work for the same government, and obviously they have the same goals.
The sad thing is that they will RUN to the polls in November to vote into power THE SAME POLITICIANS that are handing them to the left.
The same politicians that are silent, cowardly, inept, backstabbing worms.
Yes, RUN to the polls and vote for the betrayers.
