Newt is a POS. I liked Fred but he should have been all in in 2008. We could have used him.
Fred disappointed us then. Why should We not be surprised that he was couldn’t even bring himself to defend her as qualified, even though she is the only Constitutionalist of the four top ones.

Newt has been told for so long and by so many people that he’s the smartest kid in the class, the dope actually believes it.
Those who thought Reagan was just a simple-minded ex-actor said the same things about him that are often said about Palin. And in the end, is ANY President remembered for his academic brilliance or ability to regurgitate facts and data? (Name one). No, they’re remembered for the quality of their character and the vision they bring and act upon.
And he could be right. Sarah may actually prefer not being in the MSM cross-hairs 24-7. They certainly chased her out of the Governor's chair. She'd remain relevant, would do a great job of promoting the small-government cause, and could do well for her own financial self. Ain't nuttin' wrong with any o' that.

I believe Newt has a shot, even though he's unlikeable and somewhat unsteady in his convictions.
The a lot of folks on the "moderate" side of the GOP...and MOST Independents that would vote for him over Palin.
Right or wrong, that's the way I see it shaking down.

Bears repeating. Newt is not the big genius everyone thinks. He believes in man made Climate change, a dopey position.
Newt is presidentially DEAD to me.
Palin has a lot of set-to, entrenched politicians of all stripes scared.
