Scientific evidence that our world is warming is unmistakable has been released today in the ‘2009 State of the Climate’ report, issued by US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

The report draws on data from 10 key climate indicators that all point to that same finding — the world is warming.

The 10 indicators of temperature have been compiled by the Met Office Hadley Centre, drawing on the work of more than 100 scientists from more than 20 institutions. They provide, in a one place, a snapshot of our world and spell out a single conclusion that the climate is unequivocally warming.

Relying on data from multiple sources, each indicator proved consistent with a warming world.

AGW = Global Warming?

Don't think so, this is bait and switch. They know they have to show that carbon is causing us to deviate from the warming trend since the last ice age.

Yet what they give us is really ammo that AGW is false. These trends are flat lines, there right in front of us is the missing signal of AGW and it is right from the MET Office.

Notice how they deal in absolute and how the data is cut off even when we know that data exist.

It is laughable, they made obvious choices to maximize the impact why setting up the straw argument of Global Warming vs AGW which are two different things.

The other "scientists" admitted in their "leaked" emails the earth was getting colder, and they were having trouble hiding their findings. ( Now lets read these e-mails, too, and find out what the truth really is, shall we?)

Here in the hills above Palm Springs it is currently 78 degrees. I have only had to use the A/C twice, and here it is midsummer. The nights are simply amazing, down to the low to mid fifties by morning. Easily the coolest summer in decades. We are 50 miles from the Pacific, but can almost smell it from here. We normally receive a 10% ocean influence, but this year it is over 80%.

The data that those graps are based have been "adjusted" and just by coincidence the adjustments make the past cooler than the raw data, and the present hotter.

The planet has had several ice ages, where almost all of Canada (and Alaska) was covered by tens of thousands of feet of ice. That pretty wiped out everything. It seems to me that: warmer = better; colder = double-plus ungood.

The only important part of these graphs to scrutinize is the last 15 or so years.

No one has been arguing that it has not warmed since the Little Ice Age. We’ve argued that the warming has not accelerated significantly due to CO2 from man’s activity.

The whole premise of the article is false.

The world is getting warmer. Asteroids are zipping around space. Hydrogen is converted into helium in stars. Gravity creates distortions in space-time.

We don't control these things.

Same here, we had 4 days of 90s and the rest of the weeks were highs of 75 with a low of 52.
