A listener who owns one of the major construction firms in NYC called Rush today. He said he has undertaken a campaign to get pledges from other construction companies to NOT build the mosque at Ground Zero.

He said because the NYC govenment & community boards have failed the 3000 families whose wounds will be reopened by this insensitive plan; the construction companies and workers will have to stop it.

I certainly hope they can!

I lost connection to Rush when that call came, so thanks for filling me in. I hope every construction company tells them to go fly a kite and doesn't take on the construction job. Know that will be hard to do with hard times, and companies needing all the business they can get. But this whole Mosque project is a big slap in the face to all who love freedom and a travesty (if true) that they had even planned to have the ground breaking of the project on 9/11!
