On Fox News Channel. No further details.
I am sure this was right after Japan apologized for Pearl Harbor, the Bataan Death March, Cabanatuan, etc., etc., etc., no?
Her husband destroy our patient system and gave them all our patient pending applications in a deal to harmonize between the two countries.
This is how to win friends and influence people in November.
Keepin’ an eye on this one.
We’re sorry you started the war, committed heinous war crimes and were such fanatics that the dropping of atomic bombs was the only way to end the war and minimize casualties.
The bombing of Tokyo killed more people than the nuking of Hiroshima. Japan STARTED the war. What’s next an apology to the North Korea? An apology to Vietnam? An apology to the Taliban? This is insane.
So, I guess we’re sorry we didn’t invade Japan with millions of soldiers to have hundreds of thousand of casualties on both sides. We are sorry that the ensuing loss of life didn’t open up thousands of jobs for illegals to do back in the 40s and 50s. We are especially sorry because (then) we could have had unassailable Democratic majorities by the early 70s.
Is that the gist of it Hillary?
I guess we are apologizing for winning the war. How silly of us not to know it would have been better if Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan won WWII. /s
(Does she really think this is going to help her in 2012?)
The hits just keep comin’.
Are we going to apologize for all those maybe a million Japanese lives that were saved when Hiroshima and Nagagsaki were hit?
No one knows how many Americans would have died in the invasion. It says right here that many more than 200,000 Japanese would have died in the same invasion.
This is complete and utter LIBERAL INSANITY. What a slap in the face of every man and woman that served or is serving in the US armed forces...including both my grandfathers. This has to be a mistake.
I apologize. I'm sorry.
I'm sorry we had to defend ourselves against an unwarranted attack. I'm sorry that your crew was stupid enough to fire on a station filled with a quarter million civilians, including your own people. And I'm sorry I waited as long as I did before I blew them all straight to Hell.
As with everything else, it's the thought that counts.

We can dream . . .
It is one of the absurdities of modern Political Leftism. They want to argue that it was some how immoral to use the Hiroshima/Nagasaki bombs. That we could of Besieged the Japanese islands and forced them to surrender
That is utter nonsense. The infrastructure of the Japanese islands was breaking down. Japan could not feed itself and relied on food imports. Instead of killing Japanese Civilians in the tens of thousands. The Leftist Siege would of killed millions from disease, starvation and malnutrition. Eve then there is no indication that would of broke the Japanese will. Japanese soldiers hung on various pacific islands for decades after WW 2 ended. Even after the bombs dropped die hard militarists tried to stop the Emperor from surrendering.
Then there is the question. What response would the Japanese been to an invasion and occupation. Given our recent experience with the Iraqis and Insurgency what do you suppose a Japanese Insurgency would of done?
It is possible the Japanese would not have survived as a people? The Japanese civilian and military casualties on Siapan and Okinawa were horrific. Give the intensifying tempo of suicide attacks by the Japaneses, the fire power brought down on the Japanese Home Island prior to and during an Invasion would of killed tens of thousands if not millions of civilians as well as military forces.
Dropping the Atomic bombs was an act of humanity that preserved tens of thousands, if not millions, of lives.
Obama can’t be THAT stupid, can he?
If he is stupid enough to have an American ambassador apologize for Hiroshima, he’s toast.
Palin will tap dance all over him.
This will help her with her liberal base when she challenges Obama for the nomination in 2012.
The U.S. delegation will not offer an apology for dropping atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki when it attends a ceremony in Japan on Friday marking the 65th anniversary of the attacks, which brought World War II to an end.
“Sorry we killed two hundred thousand people at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We would’ve much rather killed five million of you suicidally defending against our invasion, and another ten million by disease and starvation during the subsequent occupation of the ruins of Japan, and left your country divided in half when the Soviets invaded the north. Our bad.”
