"But then they give you
a controller that is a Democrat. Then they give you a treasurer that is a Democrat. Then they give you Jack O'Connell, who is in charge of education, who is a Democrat. Then they give you a secretary of state that is a Democrat And, on top of all that...the WIFE is a Democrat!! That was probably the real problem, Ahnold.

Frustration is o.k., in tar and feathers would be better.

I have to ask, exactly what was the point of firing Gray Davis and then replacing with Arnold “Rino” Schwarzenegger?
To: DB
Yeah but where’s the money comingfrom for the bailouts? They’re going to make everyone poor delaying the inevitable if nobody stops them.

I agree. It’s part of the reason why I am so leery of Meg Whitman. She knows jack S about politics. And while I at times think we need someone who hasn’t played them much, this bucket of bolts is playing fast and loose with the television adds and the truth. I don’t trust her at all.
The immigration issue is the real warning shot across our bow IMO.

I agree. We must attack and reduce spending. It’s a decade past time to tighten the belt.

BTW, you can add government regulation and mandates to that too. Get rid of as much as you can. Help business by getting rid of about 90% of the regulations.

Arnie finally has the light dawn on him. The people of Cal. have finally devised a system that is guaranteed to be unworkable. Everybody is able to block the efforts of everybody else.
Oh well.

Just came back from a fundraiser for a CA state legislator and was informed among other things that Schwartzenegger (sp?) has never, not once, walked over to any legislator’s office and asked for their vote. Ever.
And every single dollar he has raked in, he has kept, donating not one cent to any of the local party affiliates. He has done absolutely NOTHING for the California Republican party.
He has been a complete disappointment.

I don’t hear Chris Christie in New jersey whining about being surrounded by scumbag Democrats.
He just goes around them and their “mainstream” newsroom allies.
To: Mojave
Nature of the beast and all that.
