Here's a better analogy: A bunch of fundamental Jews (note, NOT NECESSARILY Israelis) hijack a plane or planes and take out the great Mosque at Mecca. Then the Jews want to put a Jewish Community Center with a sanctuary complete with ark near the smoldering ruins.
Ya think the Muzzies would stand for THAT? Of course, if the "progressive" Muslims running the Saudi Arabian government decide that they don't want to offend the "peace loving" Jews, they could tacitly approve of such a building.
Yeah, yeah, I know that sounds pretty ridiculous, but one need only change a couple locations, religions and governments, and you have EXACTLY what is happening in New York. Then again, the average American is too fukking stupid to understand this, so such a suggestion would be considered bigoted, inflammatory, and (horror of horrors!) racist.

The hate-filled Muslims do not allow Jews anywhere near Mecca or any Muslim country. There are a few left in Iran. The rest - about a million - the Muslims made into refugees when they expelled them. Tolerance is anathema to Muslims.
