The White House today confirmed what many islanders have been anticipating for weeks: The first family will return to Martha's Vineyard for vacation next month.
President Obama and his family are scheduled to vacation on the island from Aug. 19 to Aug. 29.

The MSM news will most likely report the Obama's are headed to the Fla. golf coast to grab a headline for elections. They are for ONE DAY, then off to Martha's Vineyard for a week vacation.
Even liberal democratic talking heads are saying that even the Clinton's waited to go to Martha's Vineyard until their second term.
The folks are crazy...and they are always going to hideouts...I’m not sure if I can take another year and a half.

Obama KNOWS he is only going to be a one term president. So he is actly like the person on their last day at work.

I personally always thought that the President spending time at a residence is not really a vacation. I work from home. I’m quite sure the President can too.
However, I do think that spending time doing tourist-y things or playing golf IS vacation.

It’s a full plate. They’ve got to work that vacation into the sked of all the other vacations they’ve got lined up. That one should take place around November.

I wonder just how much Mr. Obama has actually WORKED at his present job? Hours per day, days per week, weeks per month, etc....???
What I want to know is who is paying for these vacations? Who's writing the checks and who is authorizing the writing of these checks?
While I have no issue with the US Government picking up the tab for the secret service, I want to know who's picking up the tab for the Obama's flights, the rooms, the luxury accommodations, the meals, the entertainment? Did Congress authorize these expenditures? Finally if they are not paying for these $5000 a night rooms themselves, are they claiming the value of these rooms and everything else as additional income on their income taxes?
I know if I were to get free vacations as a perk, I would have to include the value as income on my taxes. If I didn't, I'd get free accommodations in Federal Prison.
Does he actually do anything at all. I’m 100% sure that he is just the infomercial man with a nothing more than a desk in the office to make the office look legit but really the thing is run from behind the curtain.
Like one of those sham front companies with a desk in reception and a receptionist and nothing behind the reception door but empty office space.
