I THINK that’s the lowest the abyss rating has EVER been.
His wife's lavish, tax payer funded spending spree did this. Wait until people read or hear about the teacher pension bail out. A teacher gets twice the pension of those who are paying for it.
Even the left is getting squeamish. They're asking who's going to pay for all this, too, because they're not getting anything themselves if they're not big union.
Its because he still holds 90% approval of the people of color.
I guess I understand why that is, but I doubt very much if they will get the vote out in 2012.
My guess is the television ads in states where there were primaries were in high gear this past week. Thus the sudden change in polls (huge swing in the last week.) The new Fed policy, the booing of the boy scouts, and the continued problems with Waters and Rangel will not help over the coming weeks.
We see -25 by September 1.
Has nothing to do with Rasmussen; on the other hand, it has EVERYTHING to do with the people they're polling and what they're saying.

I wonder what Bush's percent of positive media coverage was. The media is dialing back on the Obama propaganda because it causes major losses in viewership.
I think you'd have to stretch and exaggerate and parse every phrase to find even two or three weeks of the whole 8 years of the Bush Presidency to find even 10% positive media coverage.
I believe that is his base. They will vote for Obama no matter what.
To go below this level, he would have to lose Blacks and mindless white liberals.

The variance is just absurd. Part of it might come from this being the season where so many take vacation and are away, but the swings are just silly. A 12 point shift over 3 days???

OK... the volatility of the measures makes me unsure about it. He had -10 just several days ago, and now it goes up to -22? What happened recently? Michelle’s vacation? I thought that was already taken into account couple days ago?
I think we are very close to that point. The fact that he has gotten FAWNING media in the last two weeks, and is still sliding, suggests he's ready for a big, big drop.
