The Los Angeles Times has been all over the scandal in Bell, one of dozens of small cities in the shadow of Los Angeles itself.

Two Times reporters, hearing that the county district attorney was looking into abnormally high salaries of Bell city officials, ferreted out documents that proved the allegations, including a nearly $800,000 salary being paid to the city manager.

Is the failed, corrupt political and social system of Mexico being imported north to California? With the shifting demographics is this the future of our state?

Good question. But the failed, corrupt political and social system of Mexico would never have been imported were it not for the decadence, mendacity, and scorn for truth and logic of the Leftists who have California in a death grip.

Solution to this kind of problem is a death sentence to anyone robbing the citizenry of this country. Boy, will everyone get honest in a hurry.

Before you carry out the sentence, make sure they are stripped of all their assets, pensions, bank accounts, houses, etc.
RESTITUTION....it just never happens. They & their family get to keep their stolen assets. So unfair.

They should be required to publish all the salaries of public employees earning more than 100k in pay and overtime, plus the cost of their benefits and retirement plan. Knowledge is power and the press should lead this charge.
We have lots of “Rotten Cities and Districts” in CA. Large non voting(illegal) populations who get representation by census, but have few voters that are mainly Rats and public servants who vote themselves into control and the raid the treasury.

I read Coulter the other day pointing out that of the 300 articles so far about Bell, only 1 mentioned that they were Democrats.

Well isn’t that nice. But the Sac Bee ALSO failed to reveal the PARTY MEMBERSHIP of Bell’s thugs!!! Five DEMOCRATS!!! I certainly hope the citizens of Bell have thrown these thugs out of their homes, confiscated their property and done away with their ludicrous retirement plans. Any news on THAT, Sac Bee??!! Or on the democrat DA who will no doubt PREVENT IT!!
