The only reason I could see this happening is that Obama is more valuable to them than the mosque. Because of his statements Obama and his Democrat cohorts were going to be impaled on this issue. By moving the mosque they remove the issue, and save Obama and the Dems.
That being said I will believe it when I see it.

Another factor in the apparent climbdown is a lack of funds to pay for construction of the center, estimated to cost a hundred million dollars. Backers hope moving it will lead to a wave of support, accompanied by cash donations.
So, since they can't afford it they will stop raping our fallen as an offer of "sensitivity" to our 9/11 families.
How utterly kind of them. And consistent.
Unless of course this is a false article to help raise funds and cool the opposition's jets.
