Next time, make them walk the plank.
Another leftist judge protects criminals.
I think the US Navy now knows that if something like this happens again to leave no quarter and let the sharks dispose of the results.
Its a mistake to extend US judicial authority to acts of war and piracy ten thousand miles away.
Shoot them, or set up a piracy court in Djibouti and hang them there.
Affirmative Action Clinton Appointed Judge. Elections have consequences and Judges like this are the result of foolish actions by American Voters. Funny though. I’ll bet a large number of those fools who voted for Bill Clinton are appalled by this Judge’s decision.
So let me guess, now they get to live in our country for free forever.
If there was an attack, wouldn’t that be enough to go after the pirates on?
You’ll all be shocked to learn that he is a Clinton appointee.
They will get citizenship in minnesota plus endless govt benefits.
And the libtards are scratching their heads wondering why we are opposed to Gitmo trials in NYC...............
The Russian Plan is very good.................
So lets look at the judges logic:
Jackson agreed in his ruling, finding that the government “failed to establish that any unauthorized acts of violence or aggression committed on the high seas constitutes piracy as defined by the law of nations.
But look at dictionary.com’s definition of piracy
1. practice of a pirate; robbery or illegal violence at sea.
-AND-
In the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) of 1982, “maritime piracy” consists of:
(a) any illegal acts of violence or detention, or any act of depredation, committed for private ends by the crew or the passengers of a private ship or a private aircraft, and directed:
(i) on the high seas, against another ship or aircraft, or against persons or property on board such ship or aircraft;
(ii) against a ship, aircraft, persons or property in a place outside the jurisdiction of any State;
(b) any act of voluntary participation in the operation of a ship or of an aircraft with knowledge of facts making it a pirate ship or aircraft;
(c) any act of inciting or of intentionally facilitating an act described in subparagraph (a) or (b).[108]
-so it is hard for me to follow this judge’s ruling.
Hmmmm, wonder which produces better results - a judge (having the typical marshmallow law education), or a good old Navy missile?
Next time, smoke ‘em of you’ve got ‘em (in your sights)..
Screw the law...after all, our president and his idiots do all the time.
Our military continues to get punished for taking prisoners.
If those guys aren’t pirates, who is?
Is there a picture of “The Judge?”
