I don’t pay too much attention to her or her music. Not my bag generally. But some months back I watched a videotaped show of hers on cable, or most of it anyway. What I expected. Most of her originals were sappy, but I thought the band was pretty good. Especially the guitar player who was wearing a shirt with a cowboy-like yoke. It made me wonder if she picked him up in Nashville or Memphis. On the one or two rockers he really killed it.
