Outrage: DoD’s final report classifies Fort Hood jihad as “workplace violence”

... Offensive jihad in the name of Islam against the U.S. military – perpetrated by a Muslim member of the military – who preached jihad – is now being referred to by the Department of Defense as “workplace violence.”.... Defense.gov News Article: Pentagon Releases Final Fort Hood Shooting Review.

WASHINGTON, Aug. 20, 2010 – Pentagon officials today released the Defense Department’s final review of recommendations issued by an independent panel in the wake of the Nov. 5, 2009, shooting spree on Fort Hood, Texas. Among the department’s top priorities, as outlined in the review, are boosting on-base emergency response capabilities, improving law enforcement and force protection information sharing with partner agencies, and integrating force protection policy, a Defense Department news release said.

In a memorandum signed Aug. 18, Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates said he carefully considered the panel’s recommendations — detailed in the report titled, “Protecting the Force: Lessons Learned from Fort Hood” — and is directing the department to take “appropriate action” to address the initiatives detailed in the follow-on review....

Army Maj. Nidal Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, allegedly opened fire at a Fort Hood facility where soldiers were processing for overseas deployments. He has been charged with 13 counts of murder and 32 counts of attempted murder...

The review puts forth “concrete actions” for the majority of the recommendations, Gates said...In particular, he said, the department will strengthen its policies, programs and procedures in the following areas:

– Educating commanders about the symptoms of potential workplace violence and the tools available to them to address it;

After a cursory review, responding to future acts of jihad (although DoD won’t call it that) seems to be a significant focus of the recommendations. One would think preventing infiltration of the U.S. military by jihadists and stealth jihadists would be the focus rather than responding to future attacks.

Additionally, much of the recommendation revolve around health care, and access to health records of military members. Jihad does not appear to even be mentioned, although the version we’ve seen is unsearchable so that has not been confirmed yet.

>> This makes me want to scream at the top of my lungs! America as we know and love it will be dead within 20 years.

The only thing worse than getting your ass kicked is the sense of defeatism.

We’ll find our way out of this disaster.

None of them were at Ft Hood—or so I both heard and read....seemed unreal to me!
Simply impossible. All bases have security on them 24-7.
Both Sgt Mark Todd and Sgt Kimberly Munley, the woman credited with shooting Hasan, were rent-a-cops.

Army to hire 3,000 security guards
The Army is converting about 2,500 installation access control point security guard positions from contractor to federal employee status at nearly 50 stateside locations.

They're often called "Security Police" or "Security Officer".

Related...Second phase of security guard conversion begins in August Jul 12, 2010
The conversion is being made due to congressional mandates and the expected loss of a waiver established after 9/11 that allowed the Department of Defense to contract security guard services at military installations in the U.S., said Craig Shreiner, branch chief of physical security for IMCOM.

Rent-a-cops on military installations are nothing more than armed security guards.

There had better be a real journalist at the next WH Press briefing with the integrity to ask the logical, obvious questions about this report and the invesigation on which it was based.

Let’s start with this:
1) Who, specifically, instructed that the words terrorism, Muslim, and Islamic were not to be used in this report? And on what rationale and what authority?

Whether Gibbs answers or not (he won’t) is immaterial. The questions must be asked. And asked again. And reported each and every time they are asked.

We must start holding our elected and appointed officials accountable. A “department” did not investigate this incident or write the report or make the recommendations. People did. And they have names.

Check out this video of one of our nation’s hero’s speaking on Ft. Hood. The General pulls no punches.

I wonder if 9/11 would be considered workplace violence by this regime? Most of the people were killed at work.

And people wonder why people wonder if Obama is a Muslim. Look around folks, the proof is everywhere. Today’s DOD report on 911 would probably say that was “work related” also and would condem OSHA for not having “Danger - Falling Buildings” signs to warn people. The Department of Just Us now includes the MUSLIMS too, doesn’t it?!

“Work related,” in that they showed up for work on 9/11.

SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS SATIRE???

As a Nam Vet, who has a slight elevated blood pressure condition, after just cursory glancing at this, I am going to either have to take another pill or have a double Crown Royal!!!

I've been saying for some time that that F'N RETARD, Gates, has been co-opted by the Fascist Community Agitator (as has most of the Chiefs of Staff including the Clueless Chief of Staff Mullen and the ever PC, MORON, Gen. Casey--"Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse,") and I worry about the future of our Country (and Military) under such leadership.

Of course this "appeasement" and defending Islam, started under Bush, thanks to his having taken the advice of one of the most DANGEROUS, Islamic-Jihadist-Supporting, SUBVERSIVES (and sadly a well "respected" and HIGHLY INFLUENTIAL Republican who should have been kicked out long ago) GROVER NORQUIST, who facilitated many Muslims (including several from CAIR) being not only invited to the WH and allowed to influence W, but has continually defended and supported any and all Muslims/Jihadist to the point of encouraging the Justice Dept, Pentagon, DHS, et al. to have "Sensitivity Training" and allowing Muslims to worm their way into highly classified positions within our government.

What to hell, we never worried about having out-and-out Commies throughout our Government before, so why worry about now allowing same for Islamo-Fascist???

Why is Obama always protecting Muslims?

**********

That’s not hard to answer.

I’m more interested in why the Department of Defense is protecting Muslim terrorists, covering for them, and making it easier for them to kill Americans on our own soil. This report was released by the Pentagon after all, not by the White House, therefore the DOD is responsible for its contents.

Not satire. All over the Internet. I vote for the Crown Royal because it will provide more pleasure. I worry about the future of the country under such leadership, too. Weird how the Muslims are making the Russian Communists look like civilized enemies in comparison, at least in this country.

After the Ft Hood terrorist attack Gen Casey also made the rounds saying what was MOST important is preventing a backlash against Muslims in the US.

You don’t believe that Obama sets this tone and this policy for the US Military?
