Hispanics for the first time outnumber non-Hispanic whites in Dallas County by a slim margin, U.S. Census Bureau numbers show...
Texas was officially deemed a majority-minority state two years ago. But county by county, the state is becoming increasingly Hispanic, the Census Bureau reported in its 2006 update.
In Dallas County, minorities made up nearly 64 percent of residents in 2006, with Hispanics making up 37.7 percent of the population, compared with 36.1 for non-Hispanic whites.
The sweep of change brought on largely by Texas births by Hispanic women has tipped nearly every major urban area of the state into what the Census Bureau terms "majority-minority" status.
The latest census numbers and their illustration of Hispanic growth come as the nation continues a vitriolic debate over immigration both legal and illegal and largely Hispanic.
Texas school districts have offered bilingual education for more than three decades.
But in recent years, with a surge in the number of students with limited English skills, districts have changed their strategies, offering stipends to teachers with bilingual ability....

The invasion is working!
Whites are the only group in America that actually cares about not inconveniencing other racial groups. Blacks and Mexicans couldn't give half a crap if whitey starves to death or not, as evidenced by the racist Obama regime's destruction of the middle class and purposeful avoiding of enforcing voting rights laws.
Mexicans will feed American whites into the maw of poverty and corruption they've created for themselves in Mexico that they are bringing to America.
Millions of illegals and tens of thousands of anchor babies born in Texas is a good thing?
There are hundreds of thousands of jobs available?
Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
How can there be such a thing as a “majority minority?” Unless of course non-Hispanic whites are some sort of “metaphysical” majority that has the responsibility to act as the gracious, understanding “host” long after it has ceased to have enough members to be tasked with that function.
I could not agree more.
To put it bluntly so everyone can understand:
Texas like many other states are being overrun with illegal aliens from Mexico.
Across Texas, 60,000 born to noncitizen mothers due U.S. birthright - 11,000 at ParklandStill, the debate could resonate in Texas, where not only 1.5 million illegal immigrants are estimated to reside but at least 60,000 babies are added to their households annually.
Parkland Memorial Hospital delivers more of those babies than any other hospital in the state. Last year at Parkland, 11,071 babies were born to women who were noncitizens, about 74 percent of total deliveries. Most of these women are believed to be in the country illegally.
End snip
We needed cheap labor. We don’t want to end up like Japan with its severe depopulation problem.
Millions of illegals and tens of thousands of anchor babies born in Texas is a good thing?

We needed cheap labor.
There are hundreds of thousands of jobs readily available in your city and or in Texas?
It is simply so easy to take a country without force, if you have the patience. Move in and outbreed the indigenous. Happening all over the world with the camel jockeys. See above, the Denmark thread as one example. See Indonesia. See Israel’s muslim population. Mexico is reclaiming what it lost long ago.
What’s the unemployment rate for 16 to 21 youths???? Over 20%.
We have cheap labor. They just won’t work or can’t find jobs the illegals are doing.
I realize this reply may draw ire from FR Texans, but demographics are what they are — undeniable and inevitable.
It looks like only a matter of time before Texas “tips Hispanic”, just as New Mexico is already, and as California soon will go.
It doesn’t matter if large portions of the state remain Anglo - by virtue of their concentration in a few areas, Hispanics will “have the numbers” to control the state, or, perhaps better stated, to grab the balance of political power away from the gringos.
To those of you who reply in anger, I say, just look at how New York State has been for as long as anyone can remember. New York is a _large_ state that has the bulk of its population concentrated in a few counties surrounding New York City. And NYC has so many leftists that it’s impossible for upstaters (who are considerably more conservative) to have a meaningful voice. Doesn’t matter if you life 300+ miles from the city, if you’re in the state of New York, you’re governed by the poltiical power of NYC.
Demographics are demographics.
The writing is on the wall.
Adios, Texas! (sigh)
P.S. Remember when the word “Atzlan” brought laughs and indignation that such an idea could be possible? Who’s laughing now?
We are literally paying for our own demise.
Nah, they just spout no hab-la engrish and the taxpayer funded interpreter/social worker hops right over and fills it out for them.
They just kick back and call Juan on their cell...
.
Don't forget the Muslims. They are increasing their population here much quicker that the white population. Had an Albanian tell me one time that they know they can't beat us militarily. They will out populate us instead. With the numbers comes the power.
Moose = Muslim
This was predicted long ago...Only a matter of time till they run Bush's nephew, George P. Bush for President....The same one that campaigned for Bush down in Mexico...
Not to mention events such as this.

And it has done absolutely nothing in improving their English skills whatsoever.
Growing up in Brownsville, I was "totally emmersed", culturally speaking in speaking Spanish (in the 40s), it's the only thing that works. Our schools taught ONLY in English, so my MA classmates ended up speaking good English but it has sure degraded over the years with the following generations, and we know why of course.
"Bilingual Education" only enables poor English speaking skills.
Dos mas cervesas, por favor. And some more tacos.
