I just saw the dumbest Paultard excuse yet.. he is pulling all this because “he really is a devout Christian who wants to win Muslim voters over so he can audit the fed”..

This has to be a Paultard parody. The only thing they forgot to add was he delivered over ten million babies.
I agree Paul needs to learn to pick his fights at least verbally better.
But I am soo sick of this New York Mosque issue. The media just won’t drop it.
I mean:
1: It’s a New York, Not Federal, and certainly not Texas issue.
2: There is really very little sense in arguing about something about which we can do nothing.
Now of course I understand the history of Islam and the circumstance of this Mosque Still there is nothing we outside of the State and city of New York can do about it. This is their battle, not ours.
Yeah, Hawaii had it’s local Pearl Harbor problem, and New York City has their little local thing with 9/11, the invasion of two countries, and two wars.
The attackers building a 13 story victory Mosque on the site of the worst attack on America’s homeland in history, should not involve people outside of the city limits is your point.
I don’t agree with that view.
So your authority is yourself. Every ,man’s authority is himself. There is thus NO right or wrong except whet each man determines for himself thus we get men who would improve mankind by eliminating all who do not fit their visions of what is a good society because there is no greater authority than themselves, thus they function for themselves as gods for whom whatever whim comes to them is the good. You have a particular set of beliefs which may or may not be similar to the beliefs you had 10 years ago and your neighbor has a contrary set of beliefs. There is nor moral authority superior to both of you to prevent one of you from stealing from your neighbor or killing him because he does not fit into your view of the good society. For you that is fine. Your beliefs and values, having been shaped by a still Christian culture accord largely with that background. Others within that same culture may have rejected those beliefs and substituted others inimical to yours. Stalin was one such. Hitler was another. And Pol Pot and Mao rejected their own cultures’ higher authorities. Each rejected any higher authority that was not a product of his own mind. In an Atheist world something like what we regard as morality and civilization depends on an overarching framework, an authority that is recognized by most in the society- a set of rules for living that are not capriciously changed by dreamers and strong men who just want it all. The atheist frame cannot organize any society except as one of rule by the strongest and most ambitious members with no rules for the rulers. Atheism can justify only anarchy. Anarchy, the lack of rule by anyone can only last so long as no man strives for any more than he already has or is because here are no rules for the pursuit of that striving. Anarchy cannot exist more than a day.
Atheism can lead only to rule by the strongest, despotism and totalism.
Atheist regimes in the 20th century....Just a few:
1. Soviet Union. Officially 35 million of their own citizens killed. Sohlznetzin (sp?) claims it was over 100 million fwiw.
2. China. Well over twenty million of their own citizens killed. Likely more, but we'll never know.
3. Khmer Rouge. Only slaughtered a little over a million....wait, wait....that was over a quarter of the entire population........
4. Over 200 million in just about a century from all the countries that forced atheism on its citizens.
No pattern there....nope.
None.
You might want to read Hayak for an understanding........
I’m not surprised the finer intellectual point we were discussing is lost on you.
Weren't you the one who claimed for certainty that Sarah Palin was going to do a reality show about Alaska, you know, like the Ozzie Osbourne show? You were so certain........
We've established one thing to a certainty - that you are NOT clairvoyant. When I read your posts, believe me, that's NOT what I'm thinking.
Oh, I know who they are! They do have other members besides the family, sadly. And they do claim to be Christian. What they do, they claim they do it in the name of Jesus Christ.
My point being, that true followers of Jesus Christ condemn this group and come out to protest them.
This does not happen with the radical muslims. There are no muslim protests of the Mosques...no signs, no American flags, no speaking out against the hateful words and tacitcs. Until and unless there are islamists who protest the words and actions of hatefilled muslims we will believe that the “extremists” represent all of Islam.
>>”McVeigh probably was a Christian”
Paul has nothing to back that statement up other than his own imagination.<<
I’ll take it a step further. McVeigh was an admitted atheist.
Christianity had nothing whatsoever to do with what McVeigh did, unless he was, in some way, lashing out AGAINST it. And when one factors in the still-unidentified alleged middle eastern co-conspirator, that is highly possible.
Are you saying she isn’t?
http://www.manolith.com/2010/08/06/sarah-palins-reality-series-to-debut-in-november/
Absolutely not. It's about Alaska, not anything like the early articles posted by the oh so highly intelligent old deck hand.
Wow. You knew that?
Amazing intellect there........
Powerful.
One of her first "guests" is Kate Gosslin (sp?) of Kate Plus Eight fame. Is Kate a rocket scientist? Nope. Is she a politician? Nope. Is she a highly regarded author? Nope
She's a reality show "star" JUST like Ozzy Osbournes.
When you film a show with a reality star, you are a reality star. Sarah Palin is doing a reality show. That's the reality. And, everyone who isn't a mindless sycophant knows it.
A highly intelligent one (in your own eyes), of course........
Great point, as there have never been any wars led by believers, in every century. No pattern there, nope. LOL Your Internet cut and paste jobs leap right over centuries of facts, but if that comforts you from the big, scary atheists [who in the cases of Italy, Germany etc. were leading nations of BELIEVERS—i guess the fact that the actually killing was done by believers who somehow were tricked by these atheist leaders means nothing], well go right ahead and cut and paste. Easier than all that complicated `thinking` stuff.
