The United States birthrate has fallen to its lowest level in at least a century as many people apparently decided they could not afford more mouths to feed.

Without immigrants we are dying as a society and you can see it, dinks, double income no kids.

Let’s see, the Over-acheivers have removed themselves from the gene pool to maintain a lifestyle they have earned. With taxes as high as they are, it takes 2 incomes to provide a lifestyle that one income SHOULD provide.
The parasites, who pay NO taxes at all (Yeah, I’m talking to the 46% who pay no taxes) realize that even with the state support, there is a limit as to how much they can suck off the taxpayers.
With nearly 10% unemployment, those who ‘could’ afford another mouth; simply don’t know if or when they will have a job - let alone where they will live 9 months from now.
The Mexicans realize that their parasitical place in society may be nearing an end - so it’s easier to move a small family back home (where their money has been sent) than to move a large family back home.
Makes total sense to me.

I just wonder if anyone has, or even has the ability to figure out the number of female babies who have been killed through abortion since Roe.v Wade in 1973. The actual number may never be known but if there are fewer females of childbirth age because of this travesty, I’m not surprised about the lowest birthrate in a century.
Not everyone should be a parent. Many who are parents, should never have become parents. I find no fault in a couple who have no maternal instincts, removing themselves from the gene pool.
Most neglected kids, are unwanted kids. Most abused kids wind up abusing others. Most prisioners in our penal system were abused or unwanted. There is an economic theory (unintended consequenes) that one reason the crime rate has gone down since the 70's was Rowe vs Wade.
That economic theory is negated by 50 million 3rd world immigrants.

I don’t believe it is just the economy, but the complete absence of hope and liberty is Obama’s America. People in American fear the future, and for the first time believe that their children may not have it as good as they did.

The working class and middle class can’t afford big families because so much of our earned income is being confiscated by the socialist federal government and given to illegals, brood sows and other moochers to raise their kids.
Taxpayers who can’t afford medical care for themselves are paying for medical care for illegals, bums, moochers and others.
This sort of analysis is a symptom of the common liberal tendency to freeze people into invariable categories. The "poor" stay poor, the "rich" stay rich, and there is no need to consider how or even whether anybody might leave one group and go into the other.
Same with "unwanted" children. Lots of kids are "unwanted" when the test comes out positive, but by the time they're born, surprise! they are wanted after all. That is, they are if abortion doesn't deny them the chance.
(Besides, what does "wanted" have to do with anything? A person has the same intrinsic value, no matter who "wants" him or doesn't.)
As to parenthood, the only way I became an even halfway decent one was by having kids and learning as I went along. I would have been no good as a parent if I had stayed as I started out.

Talked with my Dad the other day.
Bought his first home in 1948. Paid 32 USD/month in PITI - his income tax was 3%. He made 55 USD a week - so his home cost him just 1/8 of his income.
I was lucky to keep my cost to under 34% of my income..... and everyone knows what the tax burden is now.
