You might mean Mennonite. We bought a quilt from some of those folks for a wedding present for my daughter when she was married in Falls Church, VA.

I took my wife ( a then Panamanian, now a proud US citizen) on short vacations, first to Lancaster, PA, next to Gettysburg.

It turns out my last name is common among the Mennonites. That has now launched in our family a search for ancestry.

Ahmed Mohamed Nasser al Soofi

You might recognize one of his names as the ammonite word meaning "marry a 6 year old girl and rape her when she turns 9".
