Obama: The people at Beck’s rally are filled with anxiety

"I — I do think that it’s important for us to recognize that right now, the country’s going through a very difficult time, as a consequence of years of neglect in a whole range of areas. Our schools not working the way they need to, so we’ve slipped in terms of the number of college graduates, you know?

A financial system that was not, you know, operating in a way that maintained integrity and assured that the people who were investing or who were buying a home or were using a credit card weren’t getting in some way cheated. We had a health care system that was broken and that was bankrupting families and businesses. All those issues are big, tough, difficult issues. And those are just our domestic issues. That’s before we get to policy issues in two wars. And a continuing battle against terrorists who want to do us harm.

So, given all those anxieties — and given the fact that, you know, in none of these situations are you going to be fix things overnight. It’s not surprising that somebody like a Mr. Beck is able to stir up a certain portion of the country. That’s been true throughout our history. What I’m focused on is making sure that the decisions we’re making now are going to be be not good for the nightly news. Not good even necessarily for the next election. But are good for the next generation. And I’m very confident that those decisions are the ones that we’ve made."

One good session of congress ought to be all it takes to undue this disaster of a presidency.

And BO will remain a larger than life reformer only in his own mind. Where he should be.

People who are anxious about their financial situation, ie. mortgage, job, college tuition for their kids, etal, do NOT spend their hard-earned on a trip to Washington just to see Glenn Beck in person.

Out of touch, out of his mind is 0bama.

Throwing him out in 2012 is only half the battle. Electing someone with the intestinal fortitude to fire all the bureaucrats he hired and sign repeals of all his legislation will be the more difficult half.

That's exactly what restoring honor is all about. We have to restor honor in ourselves, in our communities, in our government and in our entire society.

“Don’t you just love it when he goes all philosophical on us?”

He has a habit of projecting exactly what he does onto others. He exposes his tactics through his accusations. He is pathetic.

If Obama were wise, he would have used it as an opportunity to unite people and encourage folks to stand up for Faith, Honor and Charity.
He would have said it is a wonderful thing to Honor our men and woman in the military....but did the man who ran for office as someone who wanted to unite the 2 parties do that...NO
Small...very very small of him

Not good even necessarily for the next election. But are good for the next generation.”

Oh, so now it takes an entire generation for policy decisions to make a real impact. Bush’s destruction was so insiduous, so calculated, so diabolical it will now take the anointed one who was able to stop the ocean’s rise with nothing more than his nomination, an entire generation to reverse.

What a sandbagging poon.

A Mr. Beck stirring up things???

What a jerk.
Mr. Beck only vocalized what is already in many hundreds of thousands, or better yet millions of hearts across America.

I can remember to this day when Barry and I made eye contact he could not look away fast enough, my facial gesture must have been speaking volumes (per usual and no I don’t play poker).

BTW anyone else notice Mr. Beck wearing a kevlar in DC Saturday?

Never have I known a previous President who liked to “trash talk” like the trashy obama.

So un-presidential, lacking in class...in short, sooooo like obama.

Despicable.

I’m pretty sure Sarah Palin was also wearing armor and I think Alveda King should consider it from now on as well.

Now that we know you DID watch the rally, Mr. President, you liar, you said you didn't. (we knew you did)

Now that we know, what you saw was not Anxiety, it was RESOLVE.

That rally just gave you reason to be anxious, we are resolved to work together and see that your ILK is ousted and you neutered in November and we will finish the job in 2012. Stock up on Prozac, Mr. President, your going to need it.

MLK had a dream, you just saw that dream fulfilled Saturday, and we are marching forward together, people of all races, and all faiths. Onward Christian Soldiers.

To call us Anxious, you were merely telling us how you feel. You are the one that is ANXIOUS now, you see it coming. There is nothing you can do about it.

Blame and whine. Blame and whine.

That's all this guy ever does.

You'd think he had no experience at running anything. sarc
