GWB speaking at a NuVasive company meeting in San Diego today. Only photo I could find through Twitter, but love the outfit - casual and preppy!

The President is looking even better than usual these days — getting FAR away from DC is obviously good for one’s health!!

REMINDER:

(Tonight on CSpan) FORMER PRESIDENT BUSH OFFERS INSIGHT ON HIS PRESIDENCY

By something only that could be referred to as a miracle, I was here and in for the night when I saw your ping. THANK YOU so much for the reminder about OUR President's appearance on C-Span. I just finished watching the program and am in a state somewhere between melancholy and maudlin.

It was amazing to see OUR President so at ease and conversive with the students and Brian. What a wonderful, brilliant man. We were so very blessed to have him as our President and I miss him every day.

The best line of the Q&A ... paraphrasing:
Brian asked why there was no mention of Scott McCleland in the book. W basically said he was not involved in the decision making therefore he was irrelevant. LOL! Love ya W!

I’m so glad you were able to catch the CSpan interview — or should I say (thankfully) the SMU student body interview.

I too am often melancholy after watching these interviews . . . I sooooooooooooo miss having President Bush and Laura in the White House.

Check these out, loads of good stuff! President Bush, Laura and their daughters Jenna and Barbara held the 2nd annual Bowl-A-Thon charity yesterday in Dallas in support of Barbara's non-profit Global Health Corps organization. They sure know how to have fun but also do something for a good cause! The complete package is here: article, video and lots of photos, enjoy!

Now that it’s Super Bowl week — in DALLAS — I hope we will get to ‘see’ a lot more of President Bush and his wonderful family!

CHARITY IS RIGHT UP BUSHES’ ALLEY
By Alan Peppard

Super Bowl week began with a presidential imprimatur thanks to former first twin Barbara Bush. She rousted her parents, George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, out of their Dallas home to greet all — and we mean all — of the guests at the Super Bowl-a-Thon, a fundraiser for the non-profit she co-founded, Global Health Corps.

Awesome, that’s really remarkable. Good to know that President Bush’s popularity only keeps getting bigger as time passes by and his Facebook page is a testament to that!

Well, even though no pictures from the Fort Campbell visit happened today, at least you can see many more pics from Sunday’s Bowl-A-Thon charity event. They’re all very nice and high quality (267 pics in total!) Have a peek!
