The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations

Here’s Pres. George HW Bush, and Barbara and their granddaughter Gigi behind the steering wheel of a golf cart, riding on the Gasparilla Inn grounds on Wednesday, Dec 28th.
That’s Neil Bush (W’s brother) in the center with his daughters Ashley on the left and Lauren on the right posing in front of the sunset later that same evening!
Bush 41 and Barbara say their goodbyes before leaving to go back to Houston on Saturday, Dec 31st
Barbara and Jenna also leave the Gasparilla Inn to go home.
