The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005

I miss him, too.

Very nice Kaslin, what awesome pics. Thanks a bunch!

That looks like the kind of duty some Secret Service would gladly volunteer for!
Probably a long line waiting.
((Ping!))
Love em..I am getting indigestion from the forum fights..It’s lovely to get an uplift.
Love em!
I will check Fox News and see if they have any photos
I assume you mean Dr Siegel. He is one of the medical contributors to Fox News and he was telling the Fox and Friends team yesterday morning that he will probably the last one in the ride
BTW here are more photos of the welcome the Warriors received at the Rick Husband International airport in Amarillo
This brings tears to my eyes. He still makes me proud, and proud to have voted from him. God bless our wounded warriors and all of our troops. They deserve a George W. Bush as commander-in-chief, not the you-know-what they have now.
Thanks for the ping to Sanity Island! :)
God Bless our heroes and GWB!
Thank you, pattyvita. Our W has an incredibly loving heart and truly appreciates the sacrifices of all our troops. We are blessed.
They really loved him and still do, and President Bush loved them and still does.
Wonderful photos as always Kaslin. You can’t help but feel good for these Warriors to get such a warm welcome with open arms. President Bush deserves some applause for his unconditional support for our troops. And that’s why I love him for doing so.
Please feel free to post any more photos if you want. I wouldn’t mind the extra help! :)
Amen gramho12. You said it best. President Bush was the greatest commander-in-chief the military ever had. I feel sorry for all the troops who have to serve under the current corrupt WH impostor. It’s heartbreaking.
God Bless our Warriors and our President Bush Always.
You’re all very welcome, glad you love the photos of Pres. Bush and the troops. I’ll try to post some more tomorrow! :)

Yes, that’s who it was. I couldn’t remember his name. I wonder how he held up?
Excellent! Looks like President Bush and his group had a grueling workout yesterday. I don’t know how they do it but God Bless them for their strength and determination to pull it off. It doesn’t look like a walk in a park that’s for sure!
Great Pics!
Great photos, Kaslin. Couldn’t help thinking that Obama would have collapsed after the first mile! He’s all talk (as long as he has a teleprompter) and absolutely nothing else.

pattyvita, last night there was a clip of Obama and Michelle walking to the microphones set up in front of the troops at the base they were visiting (embarrassed to say I don’t remember which one! (: All the troops were saluting the entire time he was approaching the microphone. I don’t ever remember seeing that with President Bush—the troops were always just cheering.
Dr Rosenfeld retired a few month ago, and they have others who took over for him. Dr Siegel might be one of them
I would have collapsed after much less then 100 feet
Thanks
If 0bama would have a ride with the troops, he would only do it to use them, not because he cares for them. He doesn’t
You had to be blind not to notice that he was using them for his campaign
Thank you, both, for posting all of the pictures of President Bush with the wonderful men and women of our military. We are so blessed to have had GW Bush as our President and to have men and women in our military who are willing to sacrifice so much for others. May God bless and protect them and their families.
You are very welcome and we were indeed blessed having had as our President
My pleasure! President Bush made us proud to be Americans, especially to our military. He is indeed missed by so many servicemen and women.

New pic from this morning posted on the GWB Presidential Center Twitter page. Caption reads: "President Bush giving Warrior Daniel Gade a helping hand."

Youll want to see this Youtube video of President Bush giving a press conference after the ride yesterday. He was funny and in good spirits!

I’ve been wondering what happened to Dr.Rosenfeld! He’s always been one of my favorites—we have several of his books. Glad it was just retirement that caused his absence! No doubt he’s enjoying it very much—probably writing another book!
I just thought of one of the many fine words which can be used to describe our President Bush. It’s one Obama will never be able to claim—decent.
All these photos are magnificent. We only spent a few days in Big Bend and I always hoped to get back there one day. Since we won’t, this is the closest—and I must admit far exceeds—the sights! A lot of hunks out there! :) We can never give them all the thanks they all deserve.
thanks for posting those ...yesterday was great a day to ride I’m sure ..it was cooler and really windy ...but, down in the canyon the wind is not that bad ......Palo Duro is a great place
Honorable is another word that can be used
Divide and rule, the politician cries; unite and lead, is watchword of the wise.
The first part fits the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and the second one fits President Bush. He united the country, or at least tried to and he was definitely a leader
Thank you thank you thank you!!! =)
‘.....proud to have voted for him.....’
Me too and I would do so again if it was possible!! Miss him sooooo much.
Enjoy
