I know its commonplace to read in the latest issue of Time or Newsweek that Obama is a god, that Islamophobic Americans are collectively prejudiced against Muslims, that the response after 9/11 was overblown and unnecessary (over 30 subsequent terrorist plots have been foiled, and, for some reason, renditions, tribunals, Guantanamo, Predators, intercepts, etc., have all been embraced by the Obama administration), but the recent Time piece on Israel by a Karl Vick is probably the most anti-Semitic essay I have ever read in a mainstream publication.
Among Vicks interviewees is Heli Itach, a modern-day Shylock who brags about the money to be made selling condos in Jerusalem (Even when the Qassams fell, we continued to sell! says Heli Itach, slapping a palm on the office desk). The accompanying photo shows carefree Israelis on the beach.
In fact, Vick argues, the Jews are so obsessed with making money that they dont much care what happens in the future: The truth is, Israelis are no longer preoccupied with the matter. Theyre otherwise engaged; theyre making money; theyre enjoying the rays of late summer. A watching world may still define their country by the blood feud with the Arabs whose families used to live on this land and whether that conflict can be negotiated away, but Israelis say they have moved on.

Bad Jew: member of the Republican party, Israeli, Zionist, or a Chabadnik

This is the cover that'll display before millions of folks at checkout counters around the nation. It's a blood libel.
Time has become Der Stuermer.
It makes it 'kosher' to attack American Jews.
Yes. I saw that piece by Chesler too. It was a good one.
If someone like Pat Buchanan had written this (and approved the cover shown on Posting #2), he would be condemned by the entire MSM. It’s amazing what The Left gets away with.
Sick perpetuation of the slander so often vomitted out of the mouth of anti-semites.
From what little I could read, it sounds like Israelis have normalized, and compartmentalized the area risks. In short, the Arabs have lost at ‘getting’ to them. The Jews have lives, go to the beach, make money and are not going to have their lives ruined by a bunch of money begging, UN shake down, US hustling thieves and murderers....and losers.
What’s wrong with that?
If it was England during the Blitz there would be stories about how stiff upper lipped Brits go about their lives.
This is a anti-Jew hit piece. Just as the left hates blacks like Thomas Sowell, it hates Jews outside of leftism.
America has always had the best politicians and hack writers money could buy.
Now, the Jews are outbid by the Arabs, hence the cover of Time.
“Follow the cash” explains much.
So what will the American version of kristallnacht look like?
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

And, of course, nobody else in the world, except Jews, like to make money. Time has, yet again, shamed itself. I wonder how many people will cancel due to this mishagas and lessen further the steadily dwindling readership of this dreadful magazine.
Why Time Aligns With Islamists and Nazis
As Ariel Sharon put it some years back-- Time magazine lied, Time magazine continues to lie.
And since when did the Palestinians care about peace? To them, the whole “peace process” is a shameless strategy to dismantle Israel. The PA offers proof on a daily basis, through their actions, policies, and propaganda, that they are not interested in peace. But you will NEVER see that covered objectively by Time.
It’s not so much that Time et al are lying...it’s that they’re broadcasting via their cover that it’s socially acceptable to openly hate Jews...no more whispering.
I used this article to explain to my father-in-law why I carry a pistol at all times.
