John Podesta predicts White House 'soul-searching'
By: Andy Barr September 7, 2010 11:55 AM EDT
John Podesta, the president of the Center for American Progress and leader of Barack Obamas presidential transition team, expects to see some soul-searching and changes in the White House after Novembers election.
With Democrats expected to lose dozens of seats in the midterms and possibly control of Congress Podesta believes Obama will have make changes to adapt to the new political environment.
After November you'll see some soul-searching and some changes particularly in the way that he's talked to the American people and really communicated particularly I think with the business community, Podesta said Tuesday morning on MSNBC.
You'll see I think at least a willingness to kind of listen to ideas to move forward with people, he added. And you know, I think that the president does level with people. He's pretty straight-forward about what he thinks works, what he thinks doesn't.

Searching for one?
Will he quit barking ?
Doesn’t one have to already have a soul to be able to search it?
Yes, the White House is trying to find a soul. If they have one.
Sorry this will come to nil! Marxist are souless...... Besides someone as fanatical idealogue like Obama won’t listen...just keep driving America into the ground.
What next, John? Will you start a thriving business selling a certain bridge from the NYC area?
Everyone is projecting what Clinton did in 94 to what Obamarx will do. Clinton was a pure political animal obsessed at keeping tthe presidency. Obamarx is a radical ideologue. He is incapable of changing. I will go so far to say that there is a 40% chance that he won’t even run for re-election in 2012.
soul searching = Shuck and jive.
Fetch, boy! Fetch!
>> He’s pretty straight-forward about what he thinks works
He thinks communism works. He thinks black racism works. He thinks apologizing for America’s goodness works.
That’s the problem!

Change of power?
Do Democrats have a chance of holding on to the majority in the House?
Of course. There’s still time.
No way. They’re too far behind in polls.
I’m not sure.
Does this mean Rahm will be fired? Dittos all those nasty Czars? I can’t wait until the investigations into all those non-Congressionally approved Czars business affairs starts. Should make for a wonderful 2 years of entertainment. I wonder if they have an Olie North type amongst the herd of college professors?
President Obama at the rate things are going will be repudiated just like Rod Blagojevich—unloved by even many members of the Democratic Party.
In the previous sentence he says Obama has to change the way he talks to people.
Which is it, John?
What do they expect to find? “Bush’s fault” isn’t a soul. It isn’t much of a message anymore, either. The only thing that might work is the one we’ll never see: “I took this action, expect that result, and take responsibility for it.” Never happen.
Their polling for November must be reeeeaally bad.
Maybe the dog ate it.
Is this another way of saying that Obama is about to be "all wee wee'd up"?
N O V E M B E R
is looking EVEN BETTER!
