Very good information. I’ve been digging around this all afternoon and I have a suspicion the Dove people are also Tachmonites or something similar. Some of their ‘devotionals’ actually read a lot like the Branch Dividians.
I am honored to do it, and thank you so very much for your kind words!

It seems that Sarah Palin has also weighed in on the matter.
"People have a constitutional right to burn a Koran if they want to, but doing so is insensitive and an unnecessary provocation -- much like building a mosque at Ground Zero," said the former Alaska governor.
Thanks for that article.
“I would be interested if anyone can verify the allegations made by conservative radio hosts that these guys were on a previous Bible burning agenda.”
Which conservative radio hosts?
I think that the best course of action would be to contact the conservative radio hosts and inquire about their sources.
Westboro Baptist and The Dove Pastor, Terry Jones, are the TRUE , ONE AND ONLY lunatic fringe of “American Religion”.
Now that Jones has “relented” (supposedly) Fred Phelps rushes in to the rescue. They are both the useful idiots of Islam. And yes, it’s almost like they appeared from Central Casting to prove that Christianity is Islamophobic. Hell, the MSM has been doing this for years. Now, Rauf & Co. is carrying on where the MSM has left off.
And I can see why Westboro would NOW want to burn the Koran in Dove’s stead: they LUST after the chaos that act would supposedly guarantee. THey WANT to see more American soldiers dead-—it gives them more funerals to picket.
Is that true?
Fred Phelps is standing in for Terry Jones?
Even if your question is facetious, yes, it’s true.
There was a thread you could check on FR just a few hours ago. There are already a couple dozen stories on this in various US newspapers. WBC may have actually issued their willingness to do it, though, BEFORE Jones withdrew, WBC claiming that they “didn’t think” Jones would go through with it. I am not sure of the timeline.
I am aware now. I wasn’t until your post.
