Given there are twice the Dems as Reps in DE and there was no big Dem race on the ballot, isn’t it likely that a sizable number of Dems changed their affiliations in time to vote for O’Donnell since supposedly she’d be easier for Coons to beat? Not to rain on the parade since I’d have voted for her too, but I don’t think the outcome necessary means a majority in DE have “seen the light”. I’m very happy Castle is gone though.

I see that it tightened up to 6% near the end. They just didn’t have the numbers to cheat their way through. They sandbagged it all they could, holding back every New Castle precinct they could buy... and it was FAR short.
