BOOK BOMBSHELL: First Lady Says Job "Hell... Can't Stand It"

Michelle Obama thinks being America’s First Lady is ‘hell’, Carla Bruni reveals today in a wildly indiscreet new book.

Miss Bruni reveals that Mrs Obama replied when asked about her position as the U.S. president’s wife: ‘Don’t ask! It’s hell. I can’t stand it!’

Details of the private conversation, which took place at the White House during an official visit by Nicolas Sarkozy last March, emerged in Carla And The Ambitious, a book written in collaboration with Miss Bruni.

It’s completely irresponsible for Bruni to disclose private conversations while everyone is still in office. TACKY and potentially dangerous. I don’t care who the President and First Lady is...it’s wrong. The is absolutely no manners and decency anymore. It’s all about money...God has completely left the picture.

On the other hand, she continued, “The meals and entertainment and swag and travel perks are terrific!”

She probably misses her old hospital administrator job where she got high pay for doing nothing.

I think the responsibility falls on MO. She has a responsibility to display the manners to comes with being a first lady. She does not ‘know’ Bruni and should not confide in her as if she does. Her complaints should be with a good friend or her husband. I don’t think any person of a high position in a company would complain to a client that they just met about how dreadful their job was. It would be bad for business and make the business look bad, right? Well, her complaints do the same.

You can make this about Bruni, but that does not change the subject at hand.

There are two subjects at play here. Why be surprised that MO made a wildly inappropriate comment. That’s what she does. The story here is a sitting first lady revealing private conversations. I think this says so much more about Carla than about Michelle. That’s my opinion. What happens when the two get together again?

There are probably, what, 50 million women of the age that could be married to the President and be First Lady, and we managed to pick the ONE ungrateful harridan who thinks it’s hell.

Despicable low-life scum. Do the country a favor and go back to your make work affirmative action job in Chicago.

Poor thing - she’s homesick for Kashyyyk.

She probably didn't mean to verbalize it...definitely a Wookie mistake

I can dig it. I'm not who I'd be if I had a choice, either.

There probably won’t be a next time.

And while Bruni may be advancing her book, she really is not our concern. MO is our concern, she represents us - not Bruni.

That’s what I mean...It puts current relationships in jeopardy and for what? For money. I do not like Michelle, but Carla is a pig. And talentless pig to boot.
