Same here, but I’d bet the percentage is higher. I don’t think there are 36% who want illegals to become citizens without going through the proper process.

Exclude Austin, San Antonio, and Houston, and that percentage rises to 97%.

Well, one thing that scares me is that we have a lot of immigration to the Lone Star State—both from blue states (bringing their politics with them) as well as illegals, who will vote blue if they get the chance to vote.

He is going to be reelected anyway so why would he take the chance of angering his big money contributors in the OBL.

When Perry decides it’s time to get serious or starts to feel threatened, he’ll play the Sanctuary City card. And that will end any lingering drama in this race.

Damn, the Houston Comical reported this? Yes, but they got this part dead wrong:
"The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution grants so-called birthright citizenship to babies born in this country regardless of the immigration status of their parents."
The 14th Amendment confers NO SUCH RIGHT to children born in the US to non-citizen parents, because they are not subject to US jurisdiction, but that of a foreign country.

“Nearly half of all Texans would repeal the constitutional promise of citizenship for anyone born on U.S. soil, and nearly two-thirds would favor Arizona-style state laws allowing the police to ask about the immigration status of anyone they stop for any reason, according to the latest University of Texas/Texas Tribune poll. “
