Some one should have asked him to explain the “pet” comment by Harry Reid.

Comment at the Hill article:

O'Donnell's opponent is mincing words when it comes to the health care reform bill. He has said in the past that he supports the health care reform bill, along with the stimulus bill and cap and trade. When voters in Delaware find out that he supports all three, expect him to nosedive in the polls. Dems are especially running away from their support for the health care bill and don't want to talk about how they either supported it or voted for it.

Coons, Harry Reid says that he knows you well, you are his kind of guy, and that you are his pet. The jig is up, schmuck.

If you're an incumbant, you're in trouble. If you're an incumbant and a Dem, your in really big trouble. If you're a Dem and a new face, you had better denounce everything that has happened the last 2 years, or your run is over!

Must be a Freeper.

Coons said “This race is not about ideology, but about ideas,”

What a vacuous statement by Coons. Everyone know that ideology is a word derived from idea. The Left is always twisting the language until words essentially have lost their original meanings. This is one of the most common methods they use to lie and deceive the public.

Your other point about creating false premises is also correct and a predictable liberal tactic when they cannot logically refute the real argument. I have always thought that conservatives should bring an actual straw man doll to the debate. When the liberal inevitably mis-characterizes the conservative position, the candidate should pull out the straw man and state that you’re debating the straw man and not your opponent.

Conservatives need to deconstruct the liberal arguments and show the public that liberals must distort language and use false premises and false choices to deceive and advance their agenda all in a lust for power.

I find this statement the funniest.

Borrowing a line from Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.), “It's often said that this is Joe Biden’s seat,” Coons said. “It's not. It's Delaware's seat.”

He is a plagiarizer too! Biden would be so proud.

So he’s both Harry Reid’s “pet” and is also independent of his party.

Got it.

I figure if they resort to trotting out Slow Joe or OBummer, Coonsie is going down in flames.

but about who is going to fight to get this country back on track.

Considering that remark, I would think the Coons has already begged those two to stay as far away from Delaware as possible. :)

Well said. Deserves repeating:

If that's true, Coonsie is scared.

Don't let the democrat rhetoric fool you...despite the 11 point opening advantage for Coons, they dispatched Biden immediately to start campaigning for Coons. They are afraid of the tea party effect and what it might do if it gets momentum in DE.

The article also mentioned that Coons said people shouldn't worry about stuff said 15 years ago. He said it in context to O'Donnell's anti-masturbation comments, but what he was really thinking was about his Making of a Bearded Marxist writings of about 20 years ago. He's trying to flee and cover his Marxist past.

Even POLITICO said she did well. The bearded marxist is taking the gentlemanly approach, so Christine has to find a way to use the stiletto rather than the broadsword.
