At the beginning of every NFL season the pundits speculate to which team “is the team to beat” in the coming year. That team now has a target on its back and the teams that face this team in the regular season know if they can beat it they have a decent shot to make it to the conference championship game and then to the Super Bowl.

Sarah Palin “is the team to beat” or the top seed in the 2012 GOP primaries. In other words she will be in the crosshairs of the other candidates. Whoever can beat her will prevail, but if she cannot be beaten be any of them she will win the nomination. The primary season must be played out before one can determine what scenario will occur. But to count out Sarah Palin at this point in the proceedings would be absolutely ridiculous but by the same token to pronounce her the victor now would also not make any sense either.

Sarah has got all her ducks in a row to make a run. To forgo the opportunity to run in 2012 is not conceivable imho. She has too much going for her in terms of political leverage because of the success with her many endorsements.

Do you think she is just going to throw that away and abandon her mama grizzlies and the clout she now has with the Tea party movement? Not on your life.
