The NRA seems to be working overtime trying to keep Pelosi and Reid in there. The DNC appears to have taken over the NRA.

Since the NRA made a deal with the devil (Shummer) perhaps one of their big donors they're shielding is George Soros.

The NRA just endorsed Stephanie Herseth-Sandlan (D) over Kristi Noem (R) here in South Dakota....our local Tea Party favorite.

They will never get another dime from us.

The NRA cut a special deal to be excluded from the Disclose Act. The hell with free speech for everyone else. The NRA is a fraud. They are not bipartisan, just lackey’s of whoever is power that can cut them a deal. Political expedience trumps principle.

They have become or been for a while, A self supporting bacteria. Their roots vanished long ago(check out their founding, it's a great story), and now it really matters. Their roll as a self surviving special interest appears to be #1. If we become slaves, so be it. They live? (or not!)

My husband canceled ours, and both my stepsons are cancelling. The stepsons were big donors.

Gun Owners of America is a non-profit organization whose main goal is to preserve and defend the Second Amendment. They see the right to bear arms as a fundamental freedom issue. GOA's stance is to "never compromise" and to never accept the status quo.

This is what happens when there are enough AARP types that have drifted in over the years.

The NRA seems to need its own tea party style infiltration.

Not sure I agree with you. If the NRA endorses no Dems, they lose all influence with them. Plus if Reid loses and the Dems keep the Senate, Schumer takes over as majority leader. Bad to much worse.

Not saying you are wrong, but I intend to keep my membership.

The thing that the NRA doesn't realize is that it goes beyond single-issue gun rights. All of the other leftist policies hurt gun owners too. Higher taxes and job losses how are gun owners supposed to purchase ammunition and more guns, for example?

I just think the NRA is really becoming a poor-man's NAACP.

I dropped mine 6 years ago. And AARP at the same time, when I began to realize that the AARP magazine was just an echo chamber for all the democRATS talking points and playbook!
