An honest Parks Department employee who was on duty at both the 8/28 and 10/2 events, verifies that the trashing of the Lincoln memorial by the Leftists was the "Worst that it Gets" and The Restoring Honor Rally was very busy, very crowded, but the trash was picked up and put into piles by the participants. This could be shrugged off as insignificant, but it is a powerful example of the "unintended consequences" of the Marxist/Capitalist, Progressive/Conservative, Secular (group salvation, liberation theology)/Religious (individual salvation, Judeo Christian Culture) competing systems in America today. Those of us who were there the whole time, and watched thousands just drop their bottles, wrappers, food, or literature when they were finished with them, saw a culture of carelessness, apathy, flippancy, and neglect which is simply the root of the utter failure of Leftism every time it has been tried.

YA know, it would be terrible if some family had saved for a long time to make a trip to see DC—and this was what the mall looked like on the one day they had to visit there.
I have no ideas of how to stop this—but I’m thinking hiring some more people to police these leftist radicals who would immediately ticket anyone who they saw thrashing the place—and they would be hit with a big fine, and the threat of a jail term if they don’t pay it!
They did it on purpose so they could have it classified as a shovel-ready job, and pay themselves with stimulus money to clean up after themselves and count it in next quarter’s job creation statistics.

I eavesdropped on Ed Schulz’s radio show around noon. His claim: The restoring honor rally aftermath was just as dirty. Nobody can gather without leaving a mess. Reports that the restoring honor rally was clean are lies. Then he just laughs it off, like anyone who disagrees is ridiculous.
You conservatives are so small-minded and ignorant, and can never see the bigger picture...
The “trashing” was actually a strategic leaving of refuse so that economic activity could be stimulated in the removal of said refuse. There were at least 2500 additional jobs created (Praise Be to Obama) because of the thoughtful actions of our enlightened, progressive friends.
Next week they will come through and - because of their willingness to give and help out their neighbors - begin breaking windows so as to further stimulate the economy.
But you hateful, evil, Rethuglicans and Conservative fascists just don’t have the intellectual capacity to understand this...

The last 3 rallies I attended I picked up a couple of ice cream cups that little kids dropped, all the trash I could find!
I pretty much cover the whole area on the mobility scooter, 5 or 6 miles without leaving the events field. If there was trash I'd see it!

This event was organized by the White House, and Obama's personal organization itself.
There is no law in America any longer. There is only the force of government to be wielded however that government sees fit. And it does not see fit to inconvenience its core constituency, the moonbat Left, by insisting they behave like proper Americans.

Leftists are claiming that the photographic proof is a lie because the photos from their rally are not from the “peak” times. I watched some of it on C-Span, never saw much of a crowd all day.

Let's see. You carry a sign, you take it home to put in the trash. You eat a boxed lunch, you put the box in the trash can. If it doesn't fit, put the box in your backpack and take it home to throw away. If you drink out of plastic containers, throw them away or, once again, put them in your backpack and take them home. Yes We Can...clean up after ourselves!

Liberals are ENTITLED pigs and hypocrites. They were ENTITLED to have the Park Service pick up after them. They were ENTITLED to have the unions pay their way their, to provide their lunches, drinks, t-shirts, etc.
I think the Park Service should make any large group organizer pay a significant fee for clean up. If none is needed, they get their deposit back; if clean up is needed, it comes out of the fee, and they can be billed for any additional cleanup.
Let an individual organizer take financial responsibility for all of them. You can bet there’d be announcements every 20 seconds about picking up after themselves.
Clearly, no such broadcast message was needed at the 9/12/09, 3/20/10, 8/28/10 or 9/12/10 rallies.

This makes me furious. I will never forget the photos after the inauguration, our public grounds literally trashed. Just like our formerly beautiful and nearly pristine desert areas and springs now are, along the southern border.

This kind of thing reminds me of a part of a book on the history of socialism. One of the early socialists, Robert Owen, started commune called “New Harmony” (in PA I think) and then took off and left his son to run things. Well, of course the commune was made of intellectuals, and all they wanted to do was read, talk, and contemplate things. No one wanted to work. So as a result, nothing was maintained, gardens didn’t get tended, livestock ran wild and starved and everything was basically in disarray and trashed.
Socialists of all types seem to have this pathological disconnect between their ideology and reality. In socialism, everyone is supposed to work for the common good. Except the socialists of course.

I visited my Daughter when she was in Georgetown U (her choice of 5 Eastern Universities which accepted her.) a few times.
I remember on one trip I arrived the day after a couple was attacked and the male stabbed to death beside the campus at night. And that's a relatively safe neighborhood.
The entire city beauracracy is homogeneous, and tolerant to a fault to anti-social behavior.
