I’ve never seen a single second of ‘Lost’, but can I presume the “J.J.” you mentioned is J. J. Abrams? All I know about J.J. Abrams is that he/she is behind the show ‘Fringe’, which is the best show on TV.

We own Star Trek, and J.J. created a good project with this film, but I hate ‘LOST’. This is the first time we have ever bought a television series. I doubt I’ll be buying ‘Fringe’.
