Was Nolan Ryan crying?

He sure had a nervous twitch/shake in the ninth.

The home team lost every game of the series, wonder if that’s happened before. It doesn’t hurt that Cliff Lee pitched on the road twice, Rangers should have thrown him Sunday at home, but he hasn’t pitched as well at home.
Now he can’t pitch till Game 2 in series in Texas.

My Cincinnati Reds are gone, local guy Jason Werth trying to get to the World Series for the third straight time with the fighting Phils, aka New Big Red Machine.

I think he’ll stay, we can pay him as much as the Yanks can but he gets to keep most of it. If he moves to New York the taxes get most of his salary. Plus he loves the team, he plays for Nolan Ryan and he loves boar hunting, why go to New York when he can hunt in Texas and Oklahoma.

If the Phils beat the Giants and the Rangers beat the Yankees, it will be Cliff Lee vs Roy Halladay in the opener.

I heard on the sports here in DFW that this is the first time it has happened, at least for a best-of-five series,, in MLB history.

Vlad stole home!!! Vlad!!! I almost passed out!

Vlad's steal? Nothing compared to Bengie Molina's steal, only the fourth stolen base of his 13-year major league career. Molina is generally acknowledged to be the slowest runner in history.

Did you see Molina grin when he put up the antlers? Probably first and last time he'll get to do that...

I have been down here for 19 years and am very happy for the guys.

Lee looked strong.

The rest of the team really rallied.
As some one else said, they got aggressive, but I saw a lot of slack.
You cant do that now.

The TB field looked like crap.
There was a lot of sluggishness on the part of the Rangers that will kill them with the Yankees.

Still. It was a great game!

RE: “Prolly in 3”

1. ALCS is best of 7.
2. It’s probably, as in “prolly is probably the most annoying non-word in what’s left of the English language.”
