“You may be right.”

Maybe it’s a valid conclusion, considering that they have positive feelings towards socialist heads of state, that they take rank with those who commit violence against the United States, that they insult American soldiers, that they nationalize industries, villify the “rich”, level accusations of “nazi” and “fascist” against those who might disagree with them and have no problem with associating with “washed up” domestic terrorists who say they didn’t do enough to undermine the U.S.

I have been thinking of tons of stimulus dolars and the sales of firearms and ammo...that maybe not all was bought by conservatives.

After all, there are numerous radical leftists more of the Ayres mold, who would not quail at violence.

Add to them the legions of illegal immigrants who may be here for more than a job and a paycheck, earned or not, the gangs, both domestic and imported, and the host of militant types who have been listening to pseudo religious rantsfomenting hatred from pulpits.

It all adds up to a sizeable force, including current enemies of the US abroad and their representatives here.

Not that I think they will prevail if they try to go that route, just that it will be messy for a while.

I think I'll buy more beans, bandages, ammo, commo, and camo, so to speak.

Now, I'm seriously hoping all this can be sorted out with a minimum of violence, but I have always been a contingency planner at heart.

Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

As to more civil means of dealing with the enemies of the Republic, that will hopefully be addressed in the future. Deportation for those who don't belong here, prison for the crooks, and the rope for traitors. (imho, of course)
