How about just 'Reid's closing'

Here's one of Harry Reid's closing ads, to be released later today, giving us a glimpse into one of his core closing messages at the end of an extremely negative and hard-fought campaign.
The ad contains some of the familiar epithets the campaign has steadily applied to Sharron Angle for months, labeling her reckless, radical, and extreme. But it also offers a pivot to something of a positive message: Reid has saved jobs, and replacing him with Angle would be, well, insane:
One interesting moment occurs when a Nevada businessman says: "She will be the knockout punch for the Nevada economy." In a sense, that's a tacit admission that the economy is currently one punch away from being "knocked out," and really reveals the make-lemonade-out-of-lemons approach the Reid campaign has been forced to adopt amid Nevada's dire economic situation.
At any rate, look for the Reid camp to integrate its now-familiar effort to paint Angle as extreme and dangerous in with a more positive message about Reid's success in "saving jobs," if not in creating them.
That this ad seems at least somewhat positive in comparison to the spots both sides have been churning out -- at least in the sense that it offers an affirmative message about Reid -- is a mark of just how hard-fought and nasty this campaign has been. And suggests the Reid camp thinks the finish line may finally be in sight.

He certainly is. And dangerous old fools who support dangerous young fools (Obama) does not bode well for The Republic. With any luck Harry will get the boot.
