Military Vote Suppression in Illinois

The Obama Justice Department has become embroiled in more voting shenanigans, this time in the president's home state of Illinois. The Illinois State Board of Elections has been lying about the level of county compliance with mailing military election ballots. Executive Director Dan White claims 10 counties didn't meet the mailing deadline, but in reality 35 of the state's 110 voting districts failed to comply, effectively stripping untold military service personnel of their right to vote. One election official, Robert Delaney, held up sending 1,300 military absentee ballots for 14 days. But while Patriots who have vowed to fight and die for our country can't be guaranteed the right to vote, 2,600 inmates in Chicago's Cook County Jail received hand-delivered applications and ballots -- at the same time.

Fifteen other states have also failed to comply with the mailing deadline for military ballots, and the Obama Justice Department is looking the other way as it did with the New Black Panther Party case. Apparently, if you're white, or if you serve in the U.S. military (which tends to vote Republican), you're just not a priority to this White House.

This is on top of New York State not shipping ballots to their people in the military. Wouldn't it be interesting to find that all the states that failed to send these ballots to their military personnel were states that voted for Obama or whose governors are demonrats.

It’s weird that we haven’t seen Barry the Kenyan or Moochelle overseas trying to get out the military vote. Very weird.

if two’s company and three’s a crowd, then five must make a strategy.

This is HUGE considering the razor thin margin of victory in a large number of elections over the last decade.

One of the first things a Republican House should undertake is a complete and THOROUGH investigation of Eric Holder’s Justice Department. Of coure, if it were a liberal group being robbed of their right to vote, the MSM would be all over this. But since it’s the military (who of course are the only group that words 24/7 to safeguard that right), no one in the fourth estate seems to care.

The largest delays are in Republican counties. This mess was caused by the GOP who was so concerned in protecting Candidates like Liberal Mark Kirk that they challenged every Libertarian and Constitution Party candidate causing severe delays in printing the ballots. It will be sweet justice when Kirk loses.

I'm old enough to remember when you had to be 21 to vote. One of the loudest arguments made when they sought to change it to 18 was, "Military personnel are old enough to DIE for their country, but not old enough to VOTE?".

To me the premise that not allowing 18-year-olds to vote was pushed into passage by that same theme.

But now the obama INjustice department is taking away that right to thousands of servicemen, or manipulating it so as to make the votes either late, or somehow invalid.

Holder should be impeached for this; it is the right of every American citizen to be able to vote, and they are denying the military overseas - you know the ones who are dying everyday - the right to vote.

And why? Because they know the military generally votes conservative.

Tell THAT to your lazy friends who want to sit home on election day.

But, if we work hard, we can get enough voters to the polls to STILL win the day, and then LET THE SUPOENAS take care of the INjustice bunch. Bring popcorn.

My mistake, the author’s work is at the link you gave, but it is not the title you used. The title at the link is “Poverty Pimps”

The link I gave you is for the correct article, but it is listed with other topics.
