I want to hear why 33 senators have had their names block and hidden regarding the cCountrywide/Mozilo scam? Heard about this yesterday on Fox. This is a huge scandal and congress is hiding thier names till after the election!

David Gregory was already on Twitter this morning touting Steele’s appearance on his show. Of course, he accompanied this with a link to a long article about how steele isn’t getting respect and the dissension in the GOP.

Gregory will try to sow more dissension today on his show. I told him on Twitter I knew what he was up to.

My recommendation on this is to IGNORE whatever is said. Steele will probably be goaded into making a gaffe. IGNORE IT AND PRESS ON.

Good mornng, and thanks again for the thread. I hope Karl Rove brings along a chart showing what happens to middle-class tax rates when Obama and his buddies in Congress let the tax rate reductions expire. Obama voters need to see what happens to their paychecks after the first of the year, because it still sounds like they think it will happen to somebody else.

Rove will only be asked about Christine O’Donnell, in the hopes that it will get everyone mad at him again and that the moderate Republicans will be resentful that their guy isn’t on the ballot in Delaware.

This week it’s all about depressing the GOP vote and sowing dissension. Every show will have a twist on this. Do not fall for it. If our people make gaffes or say something that makes you mad, PLEASE let it go until after the election.

It is remarkable with all those close elections just around the corner that virtually all Democrat pols are foregoing the free publicity of Sunday talk shows today. I'd thought it was to avoid being asked about Obama’s failed agenda dragging down Democrat candidates, Juan Williams goring by NPR, or the perception that national media are turning on liberal politicians and their policies. Are your sure it has something to do with Mozilo/Countrywide?

The last news I saw about Mozilo/Countrywide was a week ago. Do you have a link to anything more recent?

This week it’s all about depressing the GOP vote and sowing dissension.

Look also for stories about Democrats "surging" and predictions that their losses on election day won't be too bad. The same story lines dominated the MSM in the days leading up to election day in 1994.

I see Christianne and ABC are going the one-way route with two liberals on air. Shelton was one of the most disappointing Chairman of the Joint Chiefs ever.

I was glad to read that her colleagues on ABC are none-too-thrilled with her hiring. I’m still waiting for ABC sunday talk show to hit the bottom of the ratings pile. I don’t think it will be too much longer before she falls into third place behind NBC and CBS.

That was hands down the top news story of this past week and I bet it receives only a brief mention on any of the Sunday shows with the exception of Fox.

The roundtable on NBC’s Meet the Press:

“The Final countdown to Decision 2010: As a tough and contentious election season comes to a head, we break down all the big contests and debate all the big issues, just nine days before Americans head to the polls. Our political roundtable covers all the angles: David Brooks of The New York Times; E.J. Dionne of The Washington Post; Chair of the Democratic Leadership Council Fmr. Rep. Harold Ford Jr. (D-TN); Rachel Maddow, the host of msnbc’s “The Rachel Maddow Show”; and CNBC’s On-Air Editor, Rick Santelli.”

Brooks is a tepid, milque toast RINO, Dionne & Maddow are barking moonbats, Ford will defend his democrats over any logic or truth. Expect Santelli to be broadsided by all the others, including Gregory.

I expect Howie will discuss it on (un)reliable sources. Other than that, the lamestreamers recognize that NPR stepped over the line, so it probably won’t get much discussion on the talk shows. We’ll see.

The story isn’t going to go away soon or at least until Ms. Schiller is fired as the CEO of NPR. NPR has zero credibility at this point because of this, they had almost none prior, but given that Nina, Cokie, et al, are still allowed to spew their opinions all over the net (anywhere but Fox that is), NPR doesn’t have a leg to stand on.

Will Maura be on the panel today, or has NPR shut her up through their outrageous intimidation?

Right you are about suppressing the vote; the only thing the Republicans can talk about working to provide the voters is an opportunity for a paycheck, while the Democrats can promise unemployment checks, welfare checks, and college loans you don't have to pay back.

And while the party of no has to worry about that, the dems can continue to brag about their accomplishments; Obamacare, Cap And Tax, 1099's, and "John Edwards must be straight".

I think NPR has been blind sided from the heat they've taken over the Williams firing that they may let Maura do what she wants...at least until the head dies down.

I may have to tape a huge piece of cardboard over Rove's face during his appearance. I may want to hear what he says but I dam sure don't want to see his arrogant head after the damage he has done to our side this election cycle.

Rove had already lost half of FR before Christine O'Donnell and after her he lost the other half.

It is just amazing that someone could write that sentence for publication. I guess that including Santelli on the panel means that they have great “forebearance of the other” at NBC, and they are so very “tolerant”, which confirms that they are “good people.”

Great take MM and so true.

What I watch the last ten days are the gyrations of the polls. Those poling operations who don't want to seem like out right shills for the left usually try and get the true vote out there somewhere between 72 and 24 hours out. The rest are perfectly willing to go down in flames for Barry and the other Marxists.

My Rove theory, for what it’s worth.

George Bush is a very humble man. He fails to realize that he has a magnetic personality and is therefore an exceptional candidate. When he won in the governor’s race, he attributed it to Rove’s wonky theories and demographics counting. So he signed him on for the presidential race, which of course, he won twice.

I think the Delaware race was the first race that Rove was advising on without any back-up from bush as a candidate. I think without that charismatic candidate, he isn’t really that much of a genius.

He backed the moderate in delaware, using his charts and such. And he was wrong. You could see the desperation, when he called in Dad Bush for an endorsement. (Do you EVER remember Dad Bush endorsing someone in a primary? I don’t.)

Castle was to be Rove’s debut on his own, and he flopped. That is why he is so bitter. So let’s just ignore any outburst he has today and realize it is his effort to prove that he still knows politics. We do not need to kick him when he’s down.

Unfortunately, Karl Rove is the spokesman for the Republicans on that show. It's kind of like having the #5 starter's turn on the rotation, or maybe the older middle-reliever who is making a start; you hope he does well enough to keep your team in the game, but not well enough that he gets invited back to spring training next season.

If Rove does fall into the ODonnell trap, he runs the risk of not being the "Architect" anymore. It's not like NPR is going to invite him to replace Juan Williams, and if he loses the Fox gig, he's got noplace to go.

The race tightened a few days ago when Michelle went on Chrissy Matthews and told the truth about zero and his anti-American views. Her opponent got some dough and it tightened a little. But she should not have a problem.

Many of us see Michelle Bachman as Palin II. She's got no where to go but right to the top along with Sarah.
