Why be surprised that all these upscale workers are unemployed?

This is Obama’s plan in action——candidate Obama told Joe the Plumber he was going to redistribute the wealth.

And this is how you do it.

And while Americans are eating in soup kitchens, losing their homes, sleeping in their cars, Obama and his pals are taking a "little" trip. Read on.

Barack Obama's Indian delegation 'books 800 rooms in Mumbai
telegraph.co.uk ^ | 10/24/2010 | Philip Sherwell
FR Posted on Sunday, October 24, 2010 by massmike

Barack Obama and his travelling delegation have booked at least 800 rooms for the president's trip to Mumbai, including the entire Taj Mahal hotel. "Obama's contingent is huge," a senior Indian security official told the newspaper. "There are two jumbo jets coming along with Air Force One, which will be flanked by security jets. The President's convoy has 45 cars."

The Economic Times also reported that Mr Obama's delegation is so large that another 300 rooms have reportedly been booked in other luxury Mumbai hotels.

The scale and cost of the visit is certain to provoke criticism from Mr Obama's Republican foes in the US at a time when the country is mired in economic difficulties, with unemployment standing at nearly 10 per cent.

The report also claimed Mrs Obama has been invited to visit Mumbai's red-light district, the largest in the world, to meet prostitutes and hear about their lives. (Excerpt) Read more at telegraph.co.uk ...

=======================================

ANALYSIS This exorbitant India trip is being done deliberatly. Americans were vociferous about the Fuhrer’s wife trip to Spain.....followed by yet another summer vacation, where they gorged on lobster. The arrogant, entitled Obamas decide to show their unmitigated attempt for American opinion.....by booking this expansive trip on the taxpayers’ dime.

His Royal Highness won't say why he's going to India. But it's a good way for him and all the SEIU and ACORN to see the world in luxury on the taxpayers' dime.

Because if you have an MBA, you know there aren’t many concrete forms being built these days.

Hence no jobs there, either.

He SCORES! Good one.

Um... how about if we just burn down the Democrats houses and leave us Conservatives alone? They did this to us and they need to pay...

Well, since we KNOW who had the Obama Signs, and cannot get at the Ruling Class responsible, I do intend to ask these local people, (sweetly and nicely,of course*) for my 401(k) money.

I already hold them accountable. A neighbor I used to help with various tasks who voted for him is on her own now. I personally have nothing to do with these people.

(*Just because it says "No violent posts" on here...)

Frantzie, you have become little more than a troll on Free Republic with your incessant rants against television.

I would guess the poster is frustrated and filled with incredulous impotent outrage at what the MSM has done to us. Historical precedent, and a sick sense of deja vu..

And yep, we were on the Oleo train too. I can remember going to my grandmother’s house and she gave us bread with real butter. One taste, and I was asking mom, why can’t we have this ?? Oh, and the worse ugh - POWDERED MILK. Udderly terrible. I absolutely could not stand the stuff.

I remember all that, with disgust. And Spam. The powdered milk was "Starlac". The Oleo was white, like lard, and came in a bag with a dye capsule, and had to be kneaded till it turned yellow because the dairy lobby was writing checks even then.

People should kill their TV Elvis style. If they are too wimpy then just toss it out on trash day. But shooting it is the way to go because then it has to be tossed out.....no backsliding

Obama needs to be impeached, tried for treason and brought to justice.

That or a LARGE freezer and 70 mile road trips to fill ‘er up when needed! The poster knew (or should have known) what they were getting into when they decided to live somewhere so removed from supplies.

It didn’t when FDR was confiscating gold. Dammit. It better THIS time.

Remember, though, that FDR owned the media. He started public TV and radio, and invented the "fairness doctrine" to control information. The effect was that the public was mostly uninformed, and even when people felt that things were not right, there was no mass communications available to spread facts or to let people of similar thought share their opinions.

Reagan did us a HUGE favor by getting rid of the fairness doctrine. As well, the internet still remains free (for now) so that sites like this one allow the free exchange of ideas and information as the first amendment allows.

Thus, while FDR was able to use his controlled media to explain away the confiscation of gold, such activities today will be met with violent, deadly resistance. Why? Because people know better. People know that the government, under Obama, is fast becoming the enemy of a free people. People know that the government stands as the root cause of our financial trouble. People know that the government's solution will be just as dangerous as the original problem. People know because the first amendment exists.

It may not matter to him now... it did not matter to Japan when we launched the Enola Gay either... but they were concerned about the big boom. November 2 is the beginning. We are in far better shape than our Framers were when they fought the British Empire with muskets. American Exceptionalism is real and tangible... Reagan knew it. We just have to fight for a few election cycles to destroy our enemies from within. If that does not work, there are instructions for the rememdy in the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence.

"You ain't seen nutnin' yet". Ronald Reagan
