I heard somebody say today that Sestak was now winning this race. I think it was “Fast Eddie” Rendell. All the whistling the ‘RATS are doing is driving me crazy.

That is a massive lead. Were I Toomey, one of the first things I would do upon getting to Washington is call Pudge Rove and make sure he understands that he is a persona non grata in my office or any place else I happen to be at any given moment. Pudge, you may recall, help torpedo Toomey when he took in the monstrous Specter.

I keep hearing Sestak ads on radio. They have a clip of “Greed is good” from the original “Wall Street” with Michael Douglas and say Toomey wants to put Soc Sec into the stock market. I probably heard the thing 10 times today- it was relentless.

Yeah. It is on the clear channel station here. The NEA is sponsoring it. It is so ludicrous, I don't see it getting much traction from the talk radio crowd who listens to clear channel. But I'm getting sick of hearing it.

Damn. I don't know if I can take any more good news or if I will get any sleep at all between now until Election night. What I do know is that I was in Bertucci's restaurant and I was about to order the usual fish plate but then I said "Screw it", the Republicans are about to roll into power on a tsunami so I went ahead and ordered a Sporkie pizza with a bowl of sausage soup. It was damn good, and I had two Amstel lights to go with it. Now before you call me a wimp, it's only because they did NOT have Pilsner Urquell on tap.
Anyway, I am thinking that 4-5 congressional seats here in Massachusetts is going to flip to the Republicans. You heard me correct. Massachusetts will have nearly half it's congressional delegation in the GOP camp and I will feel good about that, especially if Barney Frank is one of the ousted ones.
