Green-minded campaigner Al Gore has been left red-faced after being accused of leaving his car running for almost an hour while he gave a lecture on sustainable development.
It is alleged that Gore made the gaffe while he spoke at the School of Business, Economics and Law in Gothenburg, Sweden on Wednesday.
His mistake was compounded further by the fact that he had asked his distinguished guests to attend the event by public transport in order to minimize CO2 emissions.
However, environmental website Climate Depot alleges that he arrived in a rental car from the airport and did not shut off the engine while he spoke.

He’s been pretty much completely discredited don’t you think? The nerve of that baffoon to continue to lecture. It’s hard to imagine the mindset of the people that actually show up.
Btw...he left the engine running in the event he needed to run away quickly.
This man is such a doofus - how does he keep his acolytes? I can only surmise that they are not yet ready to change religions.

How out of touch, wealthy, king of the world do you have to be to do somthing like that. I could not care less about environmentalism, but the sheer wastefulness of such an act would horrify me.

It’s okay. He purchased enough ‘carbon-credits’ from himself to off-set it, so no environments were harmed in the speaking of that lecture.
He left the air-conditioner running in his rent car. After he finished his talk, he probably needed to release his second chakra there.
It’s not actually gore’s fault.
He does not drive himself, he has a driver.
So, gore should fire the driver and have him executed on the palace grounds in Tennessee.
