FYI to everyone - Reporting Voter Fraud
The Republican Party has set up a National Hotline, which will be staffed with Attorneys to handle polling issues as well as possible voter fraud or intimidation.
1 - 888 - 775 - 8117. IF you even SUSPECT this is happening, PLEASE call for their free advice. DOCUMENT AND FILM EVERYTHING.
Minnesota's voting system utilizes pieces of paper where the voter completes an arrow next to the name of their selected candidates with a black marker. The paper is fed through a scanner.
So, the FIRST voter at this polling place reported that "the scanner was broken" and the election officials were collecting the ballots in a sealed bin of the type that the ballots are fed into *AFTER* going through the scanner.
No word on how this bin will be separated from those full of already-counted ballots, nor on when the scanner will be fixed, nor yet again on how the ballots in *this* bin will get counted (or if a bunch of straight DEM ballots will be, oops, "substituted by mistake", eh?)

Driving to work, just saw a man standing outside the polling place with a Cuomo - Duffy sign (New York).
He was about 100 feet away from the front door of the polling place — anyone know what the rule is ?

I voted @ 7 a.m. in Franklin TN @ Hunter’s Bend Elementary. I got there at 6:45 and there was about 20 people in front of me. The admins commented that it was a large crowd for a mid term and it also being so early in the morning.
We had a light rain earlier today but nothing to be concerned about. Right now the sun is shinning and a few black bellied whistler ducks are pecking at some cracked corn we sprinkle out. I know, shouldn’t feed the ducks. The power company had to move last years osprey nest to a new pole they put up about 50 yards from the power pole. We were worried they might not like it, but they inspected it a couple of days ago and seem pleased.

I voted this morning in a heavily democrat district, but was happy to see a republican poll watcher carefully scrutinizing the process. I thanked him for what he’s doing and got info from him on becoming a poll watcher myself for the next election!
Cold, but no rain in the Mid Atlantic.
Voted this morning in Ellsworth Maine. Polls opened at 8 a.m. There were about 20 people in line.
Polls close at 8 p.m. A friend will be at LaPage headquarters in Waterville, ME this evening.
I will also report on several legislative races in my area.
Moonbat Demorat Mitchell may come in third place.
I was leaving the polling place and was talking with our R who's working outside. He said some “random guy” riding his bike started ripping down campaign posters (guess which party's).
This random guy stated that it was illegal to have posters up in a right of way (???). Well, the fella I was speaking to is about the nicest guy you'd ever meet. However, his co-worker has actually been featured on that “Parking Wars” show. She was all over this random jerk like a rabid pitbull on a meat wagon.
Put the kybosh on that activity with a quickness, she did.
Why is it that libs just instinctively want to shut down any opposing free speech?
Probably has something to do with a philosophy that doesn't stand up to a third grader's examination for fifteen seconds.

Voted at about 8:55 in VA-9 (Christiansburg Library). Decent turnout though I didn’t really have to wait at all. Touch screen voting machines. Didn’t have a problem with it at all. I think the machine said I was number 68 on that particular machine and they had 5 machines, I think. Out front I was handed a Morgan Griffith flyer and a Boucher/Democrat “how to vote on your ballot.” Weather is beautiful here in the NRV but in the 30s this morning.
Vote, bring someone to vote, call your conservative friends and bring them to vote..help save the Republic!
Just voted in MN6.. Nothing exciting to report. Everything worked as it should. I had to register but even that went smoothly. According to the ballot reader I was voter #30.. The polling place opened an hour before i got there.
I would be cancelling everything I had going to sit there and watch that bin until someone came and fixed or replaced the scanner and I saw every single ballot in that box scanned.

Hubby and I just voted in the 10th Cong, district in MA. The turnout seemed pretty light. There is usually a line of cars to get into the parking lot but not this morning. Only one other person on our street had voted thus far.

Turnout reports are all over the map this morning, both figuratively and literally.
Virginia:
Here in Yuppie Acres, Alexandria, turnout was roughly what I remember in last year’s gubernatorial race.
One reader in one of Virginia’s not-really-hard-fought 1st Congressional District (Krystal Ball may be a lot of fun at Christmas parties, but she’s not a competitive candidate) says he too, finds turnout comparable to last year’s gubernatorial race; while another in the same district finds turnout way, way down at his usual polling place.
Michigan:
From a reader: “I’m in Macomb County, the heart of ‘Reagan Democrat’ country. The polls opened at 7:00, I was there at 7:02 and got ballot #38. There was a line out the door when I got there and still was when I left. Overheard a conversation between two women in line behind me:
Woman #1: I don’t usually vote, but my husband told me this time I needed to go. I haven’t been paying attention, way too many ads all the time. He said just vote straight Republican.
Woman #2: That’s what I’m doing.
Several other affirmations along those lines. Completely unscientific but I think a hopeful sign.”
Florida:
“Just chiming in from lovely Ponte Vedra, FL… Showed up at my polling place at 10 minutes before the polls opened (7:00 AM here), and there were already about 15 people…by the time I left after voting, there were at least 25-30, although the line wasn’t quite out the door yet… In comparison, when I voted in 2008, it was about 2/3 as much at around the same time of day, if I remember correctly…so seemed a bit busier today, in my opinion.”
New York:
“To answer your Morning Jolt – Yes, I voted. 6:00 on the dot in a NYC suburb (Port Washington) – #1 in my ED. It was clearly more crowded than usual at that hour when I have voted that early in the past. There will be some confusion with the new optical scanners. The sweet ladies behind the desk were a bit befuddled but handled it okay in the end. But if long lines develop, problems will arise. Slow downs are inevitable. The scanner wouldn’t take my (straight R) ballot on the first try. Had to try it a few times. But then it counted! It didn’t feel like a “real vote” though. I wanted the feeling of click, click, click. And it seemed a little less private as my ballot was exposed when going into the scanner. But it’s done. And Carl Paladino, DioGuardi, Bentsen, and Milano were ahead with 100% of the vote in my ED – at least for a minute.”
North Carolina:
In the 4th Congressional District: “Absolutely no line at my precinct. Some empty voting booths. At 8:00am I was the 162nd voter; polls opened at 6:30 a.m. Of course, 2008 was a completely different story. A check of the trash can on the way out would suggest that a large number of people had taken the conservative “voting guide” that was offered outside the polling place. Not exactly scientific, I know, but you deal with the tea leaves that are available, right?”

Have no idea when...or even if... it will be counted. I wonder how one goes about assuring one's self that their absentee ballot was in fact counted?
Same goes for our military folks...those few lucky enough to have received a ballot. When they mail it back in, how do they know it was counted...and not just thrown in the trash?
I voted about 9am ET in my heavily Dem neighborhood (Squirrel Hill in Pittsburgh, PA). There were 4 people voting, including me. There were signs on on the doors saying NO CAMERAS and turn cellphones off. There were no smiling people, and there was only one man out front passing out literature (there are usually at least two in the pm when I normally vote), and less campaign signs than normal out front. I normally don’t vote in the am, so don’t know what it is like usually.
The lady in front of me couldn't get the 'box' to accept her completed ballot....she tried about 3 or 4 times and it kept spitting it out.
Finally, the precinct watcher took a quick glance at the ballot and said ...'you over voted on #4'....and told the lady she would have to get a fresh ballot and do it again.!
I was glad to know our machines are super/hyper sensitive....
...hopefully no shenanigans.
Checking in from SW Suburban Chicago. Voted at 0700 on my way to work. A heavy R district but not crowded. No irregularities.

On the Quinn & Rose morning show this morning, a caller from Massillon, OH claimed that he and a friend went to vote early this morning. The lady who was in charge of the polling place allegedly left her car running and got out to unlook the door.
They watched as two guys jumped in her car full of ballots and made off with it!
Did anyone else from the area hear about this?

Of course, the small sample size of the two people in my car may cause the margin of error to be rather large, but I believe the predicted winner is accurate.
NO CAMERAS?? What??? Is there a law in PA? Sounds like they want to evade scrutiny.
