Why hasn’t Florida’s Gov race been called yet??? I don’t see enough votes left in Palm Beach to make up the difference.

Funny how Chaffee gets resurrected after losing his Senate race four years ago in RI. Its like a bad dream.

I refuse to admit that Lincoln Chaffee exists.

My seat hasn’t been called yet but it will go Rep along with four other seats in Calif. That is 5 plus one more very likely here.

If I read the RCP tables correctly, it appears there are 19 seats still in play,

I put stars by the districts that are held by Dems.
Dems have 16 of these. Republicans have 3.

Arizona 8 *
Calif 3
Calif 11 *
Calif 45
Calif 47 *
Georgia 2 *
Hawaii 1
Idaho 1 *
Illinois 8 *
Kentucky 6 *

John Boehner apparently had a conversation with obozo b/4 he went on TV tonight according to Megyn Kelly on Fox, and he made mention AGAIN tonight of “reaching across the isle” blah, blah, blah in his speech. John also mentioned his father owning a tavern when he was a kid. When John broke down a couple of times tonight during his speech, I wondered if he had a few too many drinks b/4 going on, and after talking to obozo. The guy standing to the right, behind John on stage looked alarmed and edgy each time John started to cry, and was leaning in to take his elbow, but stopped.

John needs to take a FIRM stand AGAINST “reaching across the isle” because he will have a massive backlash from those of us who refuse to deal in any way, shape or form with SOCIALISTS/marxists/communists/fascists/revolutionaries. We destroy them; we do not negotiate with them. John also has to watch his alcohol consumption...he is appearing weak and unsure of himself and the policies of the Republican Party. We need a strong, determined leader, and John Boehner is not giving me the impression that he is the man for the job.

I realize that these are highly charged, emotional times. It is also a time to recognize, and bolster our weak points, as any leader would.

+6 on the Senate front, might go as high as +8.

+59 on the house front, might go as high as +65.

Not counted in the tossups at RCP

so one way or the other, win or lose, that one was already accounted for

I gave the list of races still toss ups, including the state and district number. Her name wasn’t on the list, so it must have been decided already.

OK, on the NYT website, http://elections.nytimes.com/2010/results/senate , when you click on the senate race “by county” (clicking on the state itself will show you), Nevada looks pretty suspicious.

While I am so frustrated at Boxer’s win in CA, and hate seeing the huge portions of the state that obviously HATE her being outvoted by the bleeding hearts and handout-seekers, the numbers per county really do not make sense in NV.

ONLY in Clark County is there any lead for Reid. He lost in blowouts in all other counties but two, and in those two the race was very tight. How can Las Vegas make the ONLY place where he wins enough to win the state?
