Contrary to Obama’s recent bleating to the Presstitues that he's willing to meet with the Republican and work things out his ideology lock will not let him.

His words are reminiscent of the abuse spouse.

Just today word is coming out that if the house doesn't do things his way he'll use extraordinary measures to go around the house.

Will he work to move center? IMHO NO!!!!

Must we keep the pressure on?

YES!!!!!!

The time frame for tea party goals is longer than 2 years. It is not just about stopping Obama, although that is part of it. It is also about reversing Obamacare, but it is more than that.

When the Congress and the President passed the stimulus, bailed out the banks and car companies and passed Obamacare, all against the will of the American people, folks got angry and they got scared. The tea party is about making sure that never happens again by restoring a proper Fed/State balance. That will not happen in two years.

But it is not just about stopping and reversing Obama and restoring balance to the government. I would venture to say that every tea party member would VOW to vigilantly watch the government, every day, for the rest of their lives to make sure we aren't slipping.

And not just that. I would further venture to say that each tea party supporter will not only watch but will teach their children and grandchildren to watch. We will train them up to be vigilant. We will tell them stories of stimulus and take overs and power grabs and how we almost lost our country.

But that is not all. We will train our children and grandchildren to train their children and grandchildren so that we may never face this risk again.

So, you see, this is not a two year plan. It is a long term plan and it is not just Federal, it is deep down to the local levels. The establishment politicians have no idea what they unleashed when they ignored the will of the people and tried to impose their will on the rest of us.

Welcome aboard -

In all that you said, it is now up to the conservatives to continue to keep the education process going strong and make our up and coming generation aware of how much they stand to lose is progressives get their way.

The gap in our culture is created by the loss of statesmen and conservative spokes people who understand and believe in our heritage.

While patriotic conservatives like Reagan tend to ride off into the sunset, the liberals like Carter, Clinton and Obama will never leave the lime light. Their egos won't allow it. They continue to travel the nation and the world degrading our country and pushing the progressive agenda at our expense and on our taxpayer tab.

Obama will be dropping 200 million dollars A DAY when he visits India.

I don’t think there’s any hope - none at all - of him cutting spending voluntarily.

That's a year of unemployment benefits for over 131,000 people.

He is in Mugabe/Chavez and African dictator mode.

$200 million a day, the US Navy escort, QE 2 (money printing) - this is a poke in the eye to us.

He is MEGA flipping us off. His goal is to destroy America and he is succeeding. This is not Bill or Hillary Clinton.

This was a coup and a foreign agent - installed to destroy America and it is working.

So the struggle I am having is this. Can we afford NOT to work with a Democrat President if it means we can help the USA? If he works WITH our guys, moves to the center, limits government spending and frees up the market and that helps our nation, then it stands a chance he could get re-elected, something I don’t want to see.

IMHO, it is not up to US to work with him, it is him to compromise. From what I see so far is this:

Democrat position BEFORE Tuesday - extend Bush tax cuts to those under $250,000

Democrat position AFTER Tuesday - extend Bush tax cuts to those under $250,000

Democrat position BEFORE Tuesday - no way Obamacare is getting repealed

Democrat position AFTER Tuesday - no way Obamacare is getting repealed

My point is that they have already signaled their intentions. The Republicans, as usual, will have to make concessions in order for the "compromises" to pass.

The House MUST stand firm on what they want to do to improve America's situation and must be on the constant offensive not the defensive over the next two years. They MUST make public perception be that the Senate and Obama are standing in the way of making things better.

It’s lines like this that make people on this site skeptical of your motives. Only a Democrat or liberal would not have realized that after such a decisive victory it is up to the President to bend to the will of the people and not the other way around.

I may be wrong, but I do not think Mr. Obama is psychologically capable of doing those things -- at least not for more than a couple of months. Clinton managed to pull it off, but I don't think Obama can or will.

Conservatives CANNOT ‘work’ with “O”.

• He is an arrogant, hard-core Communist, through and through
• He is immovable on every point of his ‘agenda’
• He got where he got without once, EVER having to ‘work’ with anyone
• He has ‘supporters’ who won't tolerate his ‘working’ with us
• He does not, repeat NOT, need to ‘work’ with Conservatives OR even with dissenters in his own corner
• He has the MSM in his back pocket and can feign ‘working’ with Conservatives all he wants while making out that WE didn't work with him.

It would be a mistake to trust this administration or the crowd of flimflam characters who populate it.

Just my view.

Will Obama get rid of his czars?

Will he somehow manage to get a valid Hawaii birth certificate, since the Hawaii DOH has already indirectly confirmed that what he has now is not legally valid? Will Obama be able to undo his perjury that got him placed on ballots in the first place?

Will Obama give back GM and the Chrysler dealerships?

Will he take back his bows to every Muslim thug in the world? Will he take back his statements to the Egyptian ambassador that he was and still is a Muslim in support of the Muslim agenda (presumably worldwide sharia and the destruction of the US and Israel) - and if he takes it back will we believe it is anything but the taqiyya that he’s already self-admittedly been practicing in order to push the Muslim agenda?

Will he take back his statements that the US Constitution is flawed because it limits government, and will he undo every step along the way that he’s made to ride roughshod over the US Constitution?

Will he go back to the time when his campaign disabled the verification process for campaign contributions so we can reverse that move and suddenly see who bankrolled his campaign?

Will he enforce the border and apologize with red face to Jan Brewer and all the Arizonans who have been on the front line in the invasion of both Al Qaeda operatives and druglords who pattern themselves after the beheadings by Al Qaeda?

Will he apologize to Honduras for supporting the communist who had the election results for an election forbidden by their Constitution on his computer? Will he apologize for chiding and PUNISHING Honduras for following its own Constitution just as we should have followed our own?

Will he take back the 1.5 million dollars that he contributed to his relative, Raila Odinga - who got the support of the Muslims in that country (the same ones who went on brutal rampages at his bidding after the election) by promising to help them institute sharia and fighting US anti-terror measures? Will he give taxpayers back the millions spent to give Kenya an abortion-on-demand Constitution?

Will he gain back the respect of our allies by selling to Israel military parts and ammunition for the weaponry we sold them, that they were trusting for their defense? Will he set up a missile shield for Europe so that Iran - who now has a nuclear bomb - won’t be able to start the Armageddon they want to start in order to usher in the Twelfth Imam?

See, we are dealing with serious, serious doo-doo. After cutting off this nation’s head a band-aid applied to our little finger is not going to matter to those of us who are still awake to see what he just did to us.

These are very, very serious times. Obama’s entire life has been spent with extreme communists and Islamists - the two extremist groups bent on destroying America which just so happen to be also led by Obama’s owner, George Soros.

The only time Obama ever even used his law degree (before he lost it) was to push the CRA (threatening banks into doing subprime lending) and the Motor Voter Law (allowing electoral fraud) - which are the two main LEGAL planks of the Cloward-Piven (communist) Plan to destroy America from within.

Is Obama going to undo those too?

You’re a conservative who had never heard of freerepublic? Obviously, you’re pretty internet literate if you figured out how to sign up and initiate your own thread for your very first post here. Gosh, you even figured out how to put the thread in the appropriate categories. That’s pretty clever...making it even more surprising that you’d never heard of FR before. Wow, good for you.

So, your conclusion, following this tsunami of a midterm victory for conservative Republicans is that we shouldn’t pop the cork on the champagne, because now we’re really screwed. Damned if we do and damned if we don’t. It’s hopeless. We are doomed.

Welcome to The Apocalypse. Welcome to Free Repulic.

Welcome to FR.

Starting off your free membership by posting what we call a VANITY, is considered a faux pas. However, it happens (at least lately).

FR is a great site. The most important thing to remember, is that FR is WHAT YOU MAKE IT.

We are all responsible for maintaining courtesy, respect, and an open, family rated debate.

There are rules, and although Jim Robinson and his staff do an excellent job of patrolling the posts, it is really up to us.

Your vanity post was at least interesting, and provoked some discussion. So you got a positive start.

Next time you decide to start a thread, if you use an actual media source , you will find your reception a little warmer.

The future of this Nation is not all about Obama. Obama was, is, and will be at the beck and call of other people such as Soros and other internationalists who want the USA to go down the drain of Marxism. I don’t even exclude so called big shakers such as Builderbergers and even Rothchilds. As such compromise will not be entirely up to Obama.
