Those of us who followed the horrendous happenings via live coverage and reports on the ground for Katrina, before and after, already know what a partisan, bumbling fool and liar you are, Ms. Blank-O!

This is how a competent Governor Jindal handled the situation for Gustav.

I wonder if President Bush will defend himself now against Blanco’s lies?

“He didn’t discuss that with me. He didn’t discuss it in that frame ever.”

Well apparently then GW made the mistake of expecting a GOVERNOR to know the BASICS of the relevant Constitutional issues involved. So yes, that “dunce” GW screwed up by expecting you not to be a complete incompetent moron, Blanco. OK, criticism of GW on that score might be warranted...

One of the stark differences I got out of the "popular history" about Katrina was the sight of the Governor on TV crying when she found out the hurricane was raised to Cat 5 and was headed for La. I was watching Beaumont Texas channels and they said Bush had called on her to evacuate and she was frozen and didn't know what to do. It was ridiculous to see that she couldn't make a decision.

I guess it wouldn't have been so hard had it been someone besides Bush,....(the Devil). It was pretty much the same with the chocolate Mayor, only without tears. They had no plan,... no clue. If it hadn't turned more towards Miss. and was about a Cat 3 when it made landfall, It would have been much worse.

The good thing about today is we have video tape on just about everything. I wish people had better memory to pull it out and show it to prove what liars these creeps are. A crying governor in crisis mode is something you remember.

I was in Katrina, but thank goodness we have a real governor over here in Mississippi. President Bush and all the charities, military and feds did everything they could. It was the biggest natural disaster in US history and no one could’ve done more.

By law, the president cannot send federal troops to conduct law enforcement without a declaration of insurrection.

I think it was a bad idea to recommend that a governor claim insurrection when there is none. That would set a bad precedent for the future. I can see where this could be abused.

Bush is such an unbelievable freaking looser.

Here is a guy that has the truth, the evidence and the undeniable, documented facts on his side and STILL he bows in defeat for the sake of being gracious and above it all.

Well you aren’t above it all, you are a coward and a disgrace for not standing up for yourself and the TRUTH.

Just please shut up and go away....

ex-Governor Kathleen Blanco>>>>>

A stone cold liar and incompetent. Generations of corrupt, bribed, Democrat hacks gave New Orleans a useless system of levees and dikes and Blanco is fine example of this type

Three days after the levees were breached, Democrat pukes in Louisiana and DC started laying it all off on George Bush. I was amazed because this was due to city and state failures not some far off power in DC

Blanco is a liar. I explained this to an ex girlfriend of mine from Britain because she could not understand how come federal aid just sat there in trucks.

Why is it then that ONLY Kathleen Blanco had such a large magnitude of trouble and not the neighboring... umm.... REPPUBLICAN GOVERNORS. It seems as though only Blanco and Nagin (both Democrats) seemed to have had the trouble.... ummm..... GOVERNING!!!!

Sound familiar?

Blanco, YOU LIE.

EVERYONE heard the media discussion of how the president had to get YOU to ask for the federalized National Guard and you didn't.

Google search, 2005 news:

http://www.google.com/#q=blanco+federalize+national+guard&hl=en&tbs=nws:1,cd_min:2005,cd_max:2005,cdr:1&source=lnt&fp=c1f0a94d64b2ffd4

Plus, duh. Every Governor should have a working understanding of how the President needs permission to call up the National Guard for federal duty. This is especially true of a Governor whose state is being born down upon by a Category Five hurricane. Even if the administration had not discussed it with Blanco, she was expected to have a clue as to how to deal with a disaster in her state.

It really makes me mad when people try to rewrite history while the people who LIVED it are still around to know the difference.
Blanco was a clueless MawMaw who did not prepare to handle the aftermath of Katrina. Nagin was worse. Together they did more damage than the storm did. Mississippi and Alabama officials had their acts together- only Louisiana had the local officials who were more concerned about GIVING UP POWER than reacting to the disaster. I remember it, I heard it as it happened-Blank-o is a dimwit and a liar.
