Not that Obama doesn't appreciate the sacrifices of veterans. He absolutely does. Just ask the Indonesians.

He was in Jakarta for their Heroes Day this week to honor their veterans "who have sacrificed on behalf of this great country."

"This great country," of course, being Indonesia.

"When my stepfather was a boy, he watched his own father and older brother leave home to fight and die in the struggle for Indonesian independence," Obama told the audience.

And the White House wonders why so many people think there is something foreign about this guy.

In the same speech, Obama gave voice to a harsh criticism he has heard about freely elected governments.

"Today, we sometimes hear that democracy stands in the way of economic progress," he said.

The shocking statement raises the question: Where has Obama heard this fatuous claim and with whom has he been talking politics?

Most American presidents and politicians (who can) point with pride at their father/grandfather/relatives who served America in the past. And, then we have Obama, this man of questionable heritage and country. A man who honors his step-father for serving Indonesia - the country Barack is most fond of, and...as it is believed, where he is still a citizen since he has never disavowed his Indonesian citizenship.

It is no wonder he places no importance or significance on American holidays and memorials. It would be interesting to find out if, before being elected, he ever celebrated any American commemoration at all. We all know it took him a while to learn to place his hand over his heart when the American National Anthem was being played. I am sure doing that was totally new to him.

My President is George Bush. obama is not my President and will never be. While he currently occupies the White House, obama will never be President. Why? Because to be President, one has to at least like the united States. But never the less, obama was put in Office by a majority of voters. Especially the young,White, syphilis faced pukes that voted for him. When they grow older and have no jobs and no prospect for a job because the policies of their messiah have destroyed the industries, when they decide they want to buy or build a house to live in and find that they are unable to,and last but not lease, when they reach retirement age and learn that they can't. Why? because of the policies and thievery of their savior have looted the treasury and there is no money. Then they will really appreciate him and their actions back on November 4, 2008 will be so much funnier than it was on that night to them.
