CONYERS — Two Atlanta men face charges in the shooting death of a Stone Mountain man who walked in on an armed robbery Thursday.
The shooting stemmed from an 11:30 a.m. heist at the GameStop located at 1360 Dogwood Drive, according to Conyers Police Chief Gene Wilson.
Giovannte Maddox, 27, and Demarkus Lamar Williams, 25, both of Atlanta were arrested in connection with the incident.
According to police, the two men entered the store, locked the store and brandished a semi-automatic weapon and a revolver. They tied up a male employee in the back room and were in the process of robbing the store when a customer came in.
“They let the customer in, then tried to rob the customer,” Wilson said. “The customer resisted and they shot the customer two times.”
The customer was later identified as 40-year-old Adrian Tyrone Snow. The victim was shot in the hand and the shoulder and airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
“Mr. Snow is dead,” Wilson said late Thursday.

There was in fact a third man who got away and hid in the sewer overnight, and when he tried to emerge today, passersby reported a man coming out of the sewer to cops. He then complained about being bitten by bugs and rats all night.
Give them a trial, one review of the procedure and execution. We put away wild animals when they kill humans, these guys are no different at all.

Now I don’t mind my hometown making it on Free Republic, but not exactly in this way. Well, at least they caught the perps.

Well, they're human. I truly believe that it is a matter of circumstance, and that anybody, including you and me, is capable of descending to this level. At the same time I acknowledge that there is no excuse for it, and we are each accountable for our actions, but this is nothing to do with being an animal.

I knew the ethnicity of the perps at "customer killed" and "GameStop". I didn't even need to read their names.
