Mystery Missiles - Why Are We Stuck on Stupid?
AntiMullah ^ | 11/13/10 | Alan Peters

Posted on 11/13/2010 1:42:55 PM PST by FARS

The video below suggests the mystery missile launch was the USA showing Asia/China and Russia our ability to launch Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) from a submarine while OBAMBI is in Asia!

Since when has there been ANY doubt we have the capability to do this? That the USA has submarine launch ability to hit China or to hit Russia!

The first, a Pacific launch was 35 miles off Southern California and headed on a North-East - across America trajectory.

The second, shortly after that, was a first ever Atlantic launch and reportedly went up above New York.

If it was an aircraft, why haven’t we seen a similar contrail every day around the same time?

In case you're not kidding...

The most interesting thing to me actually, is the number of people who want everyone to just shut up and stop talking about it. I don’t know what it was and am not even qualified to speculation. However, I’m amazed at the number of FReepers who feel qualified to say the know for a fact iit was an airplane contrail and that those who think otherwise are nuts and moonbats. Heck even Dr. Michio Kaku, while he believes it was probably a contrail, would not say for certain it wasn’t a missile.

Airliners don't have after-burners, right? Then, what was that flame on top, albeit bright or not?

Airliners do reflect the sunlight very well. You'll notice that in the first part of the video there is no "flame" visible. The "flame" only shows up later when the sky color has deepened to orange and the angle of the sun would have been better for reflecting off the undersides of big aluminium tubes.

The “missle launch” has been basically proven to be a jet. (by a blogger?)
1 the contrail did not disperse as a rocket would have (the video was pretty short, how do you know how fast it dispersed?)
2 the flame from a rocket motor would have been much brighter. (It was 30+ miles away and well in to flight. You can see the rocket motor as it heads away from the camera)
3 any large missle shows up big time on radar. (probably, unless someone wants you to believe nothing happened)
4 only the usa has ever bult a curise missile with stealth. Rockets with current material science can’t be stealthy.(It was seen by a traffic helicopter, stealth was not its mission)
5 an aviation enthusiast has already figure out the plane. (I am an aviation enthusiast and I say it was an SLBM).

Only if you trust the so-called “expertise” of a bird photographer, an anonymous blogger named “Unicorn” who runs an anonymous pseudoscience blog and the liberals who run Snopes

The black ops under Dhimmicrat adminstration seems to have more than there fair share of these aberations.....Flight 800 was a missle and OKC/Murrah had a middle eastern connection but everyone was shut up and nothing was ever done about it....and the public are treated like children.

I’m not afraid, as I said, I don’t know what it was, and basically don’t have much of an opinion. I’m concerned about FReepers telling each other they are crazy and to shut up because they disagree about something. I’m concerned when FReepers use the same tactics they decry in liberals, that is marginalize people by making fun of them. It looked like a missile to me, but as I said, I’ve never seen a real missile launch (altho I did get some really cool photos of a night shuttle launch from Delray Beach last year) so my opinion means zip.

Until new information presents itself, there really is nothing else to say. Let me know when some eyewitnesses from the boats in the area come forward.

Missile Truthers.

I am so tired of this idiocy. But obviously not tired enough to quit responding to it.

Repeat after me: Airplane contrail.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

The homogeneity of the contrail argues against an airplane.
The atmosphere is rarely moist enought throughout its depth to display such a thick and uninterrupted contrail. (Former Meteorologist here folks)

Further, an aircraft contrail doesn’t produce such a thick single plume as is indicated by the video. This is so obviously a missile plume that the airplane theory has to laughed off the page.

The question remains: Who and Why?

#7 It was way too slow moving to be a missle. In the amount of time it was on video a missle would have been to orbital velocity and impacting the target. This thing hangs in the sky - just like an airplane cruising at altitude parallel to the earth’s surface would.

And what’s the deal on that helo in some of the video - looks like a dual-rotor helo to me, and that’s not what the TV news crews fly.

Chinook. Apart from being a lifter, the Chinook is also (according to the UK Royal Navy) *the* best dipping sonar/ASW platform there is. So in a scramble to find a hiding diesel sub, it would be a natural.

I don't know...don't really care...he/she makes sense & used logical/scientific arguments. I am not playing the "I see your scientist and raise you one "scientist" game...(or "Janes expert" or ???).  Bring physics, optics & contrail facts not so-called "experts".
