LOL!
I didn’t even think of that!
Sure! Let's let Sarah Palin chime in, she's a big advocate of Free Trade.
She urged the Republican newcomers to stick to our principles: strong defense, free trade, nurturing allies, and steadfast opposition to Americas enemies. We are the most powerful country on earth and the world is better off because of it."from article "Jerusalem is Israels Capital not a Settlement" by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu in Aruz Shvea/Israel National News .com
Well when she drops the "free trade" BS she'll be batting a .1000.
I’m not sure college is really the ticket it once was. Of course if you can get into an elite institution and want to go on to grad school and government employment, sure.
Maybe better off going directly for a medical degree, like certified medical assistant, and working up to RN or Nurse Practitioner.
If current trends continue it might be a lot more adventageous for your kids to have a home to live in than a piece of paper from a community college.
It will be interesting to see who else runs. Watching the Sunday TV shows you can see who is positioning: Newt's going to try again, you can just tell. DeMint sounded unlikely to run. I think Pence is going to run. Obviously both Pawlenty and Romney are going to run. It's hard to imagine that Huckabee won't run again too.
Whatever Palin is batting now a lot will depend on her opponents.
I don't think Palin is going to drop her support for Free Trade, ever. Therefore I will be taking a look at the other candidates to see if any of them are doing any better on the issue.
I heard the “Donald” was going to run and gets it, concerning the trade war we’ve been in for the last 30 years.
I’m willing to listen to and evaluate anyone who is a plausible candidate. Hopefully we can debate a few real issues this election cycle. What did McCain stand for that was different than Obama?
Both favored TARP,
Both favored Auto-bailouts.
Both are Free Trade supporters.
Both support “comprehensive immigration reform”.
Both like campiagn finance reform.
Obama pretended to be anti-war to sucker the useful idiots on the left, but once in his war fighting has probably been close to what McCain would have done.
I know what you mean. I keep thinking about not having a lawn to maintain and no pets. Less square footage to clean. Hopefully, in ten years or so, we’ll get our dreams back. In the mean time, I’m thinking of it as a long vacation.
The only reason we’ll be OK is that we got a 15 year mortgage instead of a 30. We’ll have it about 1/3rd paid off when we put it on the market and that’s about what it’s depreciated. At least we got to enjoy it while we did.
