Getting 'Tax Cuts For Rich' Backward

Fiscal Policy: A senior White House adviser says no to tax cuts for the "wealthy" but yes for the middle class. Since no one ever got hired by a poor person, who does he expect to give them jobs?

The lame-duck session began with the administration continuing to divide Americans by class. On Sunday, senior White House adviser David Axelrod said on NBC's "Meet the Press" that, despite speculation and hints to the contrary, "there's no bend on permanent extension of tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans."

"The president still believes we have to move forward with these tax cuts for the middle class," Axelrod said. "But we can't afford to borrow another $700 billion for tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires." Axelrod forgets one thing: Letting people keep what they earn is not giving them anything; it's their money.

The Obama administration's problem is it's so focused on the distribution of the golden eggs, it's neglected the health of the goose. Wealth is to be redistributed, not created, and the effects of taxation on human behavior are to be ignored. And for that wealth to be created, reward for risk and long-term certainty are necessary.

The more you let a person or business keep of the fruits of their labor, the more they will labor. The greater the chance of profit, the likelier investors and entrepreneurs will take risks. But if you let the top tax rate rise to nearly 40%, a burden exceeding that of medieval serfs, the economic wheels fall off.

When the rich have gotten rid of the middle class and we all behave like the poor, who are they going to get to work?

When the rich liberals have gotten rid of the middle class and we all behave like the poor, who are they going to get to work?

In case anybody cares, they aren't Tax Cuts, they are Tax RATE Cuts.

After the final implementation of the Bush Tax RATE Cuts in 2003, overall Tax Receipts to the U.S. Treasury increased by 35% over the next four years to a record amount of $2.5 Trillion.

Meanwhile, the percentage of overall Taxes paid by the top earners increased, which of course completely destroys the myth of Tax Cuts for the Rich costing the Government money.

Lower Taxes, expanded economy, increased Tax Revenue.

I have a great idea for a source of taxes for the liberals. The liberal foundations set up to protect and pay for the lifestyles of their benefactors and their families. For example the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Pelosi’s top aide left in October when it because clear the Dems would lose the house and so San Fran Nan obtained a job for
Cheryl Parker Rose to become the deputy director of government affairs for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Ain’t that just the sweetest thing.

You think this wouldn’t be a difficult concept to understand.

Cut taxes, increase revenues, expand the economy. How many times do people need to be told in order to get it?

Liberals think the economic “pie” stays the same size and the Evil Rich get a bigger piece, leaving less for the Serfs.

People get upset when they forget to plug in their Cell Phones overnight and they run out of juice the next day.

Imagine what will happen when they forget to plug in their Electric Cars and realize it when they're half way to work with the Low Battery light flashing away.

The AAA Road Service guy can bring you a can of gas, but he can't bring you a can of Kilowatts.

You need to think like a liberal, Ben. There’s no “social justice” if the rich aren’t soaked to the tune of 90% marginal rates. Forget the reality that they invest and create jobs and wealth for all of us. Libs are never interested in reality or empirical data.

This is a straw man argument. There are millions of people who owe their jobs to the purchases made by the poor. You can start with every last person working for one of those payday loan companies.
